Sam's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

You really do not want to buy a pizza from this place, unless you like your dough gooey, way too much cheese (yes I like cheese, but it's simply too much), and you like to be charged more than what you were told when you placed your order. I have ordered pizza several times from Sam's, and each time the dough is gooey (I guess I figured they'd eventually get it right, and they're the only place I know of that will deliver to where I live), but this last time was the last. When the pizza arrived, I asked why the price was higher than what I was told over the phone (I figured out that the delivery charge had been changed from $1.50 to $3.00), and it was because I was "out too far", or something like that. No, it's not a huge amount, but you just don't do that...

Poor customer service. Walked in only to have not one but two ladies look up and acknowledge me but continued doing what they were doing. Not once did they say I will be right with you. Stood there for two minutes about to leave when the blonde hair girl walked over by the pizza oven and counter and still not say a word. I literally had to tell her I'm here for an order. She says "what" and I repeat myself. She checks the top of the oven and says its not ready. I say ok and tells her I want to go ahead and pay. I handed her the money in her hand and she gives me my change back by laying it on the counter. I have been a customer of Sam's since the first day they opened but this will be the last time I ever go back in...

My husband and I visit St. Michael's regularly on our way to Tilghman Island and we've had lunch at Sam's pizza in the past and the food was ok. This particular visit we stopped in to place a to go order and the service was just down right rude. The cashier didn't acknowledge us and the older man shoved menu's towards us and smugly asked us if we knew what we wanted. My husband was about half way through placing the order when the cashier just picked up the telephone and started taking another order.
