My experience at Silver Diner was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. The decor was cozy and nostalgic, evoking a sense of comfort that made me feel right at home.
One of the standout aspects of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Madeleine, my server and girlfriend. She truly made the evening special with her attentive, friendly demeanor. She was always one step ahead, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Madeleine's positive attitude and excellent communication skills enhanced the overall dining experience and made me appreciate her dedication to her job.
I started off my meal with a refreshing glass of lemonade. The lemonade was perfectly balanced, offering just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. It was the perfect drink to accompany my meal and quenched my thirst on a warm day.
For my main course, I ordered a burger with French fries. The fries were crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. They were the ideal side to complement the main dish. The burger itself was cooked to perfection, with juicy, flavorful beef that left me thoroughly satisfied.
However, one small critique I have is that there was a bit too much avocado in my burger. While I appreciate the fresh, creamy taste it added, I found it slightly overwhelming in comparison to the other ingredients. Despite this minor issue, the overall flavor of the burger was still quite enjoyable.
Madeleine's attentiveness during the meal ensured that any concerns were promptly addressed, and her friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more delightful. She has a genuine passion for her job and it shows in her excellent service.
In conclusion, my visit to Silver Diner was a wonderful experience overall. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Madeleine's exceptional service made the evening even more memorable and is one of the main reasons I will be returning to Silver Diner in the future.

Read moreThis could not of been a worse experience. First we get sat and the waiter (Juan) asks for our drink orders. This takes him at least 10 min to bring and it's not anything crazy..a soda and chocolate milk.. then he takes our order and then we don't see him again for well over 30 min...well over... a woman drops our plates down and leaves. She looks like she might?? be a cook. My blueberry pancakes had butter on them, I asked for no butter. My son's French toast has syrup all over it, he eats his French toast plain.... Juan didn't listen at all... then I go to pour syrup over my pancakes and its plops out, not pours..plops. It's been sitting for a very long time clearly it's hardened. Then our eggs have that thick yellow over them when eggs have sat out. I take a bite of the eggs ICE cold!!!! Not lukewarm not warm at all...COLD! Then the waiter comes over and I ask for napkins and salt and pepper. He says "thank you" and walked away. HE DOES NOT LISTEN!!! He absolutely never returns. We do not see him again. My son couldn't eat his food, after all it's not at all what he wanted. I scoop the butter off mine and eat my very cold pancakes. They were probably okay when they were actually made but the eggs are not edible...no one likes cold eggs. Our food and service and overall experience was a zero. I had to flag down a manager to even pay. She made her excuses and said he was stuck at another table. Never asked our experience. I imagine Juan was full of horrible reviews that day and she already knew. I don't know... I do know we'll never be back. I don't care about the wasted money or the fact that we then left hungry still but time is what bothers me. You wasted our time. My sons spring break time with mom and this is how our activity went. Don't waste...
Read moreThe hostess was very pleasant. The waitress swooped in immediately after we sat down to ask for drink orders. Said hello I’ll be taking care of you but never mentioned her name. I usually ask but decided not to. Today just wasn’t a great dining experience here. The waitress was very dry and asked no questions outside of are you ready to order and offered no insight to any suggestions. She was so quick to as but didn’t offer water, coffee, napkins. We had to ask for everything. Which is fine ultimately however this has not happened prior. Ordered 2 mimosas, the strawberries had an interesting film on them so we set aside. There were three empty booths surrounding us that sat for at least 15 mins before they were “bussed” which is aesthetically displeasing. The food: The eggs for both of our meals were cooked nicely however very bland. Speaking of eggs.. there was a small pile on the floor (assuming from a previous patron) under our table however I found out after my shoe slid thru it. Our waitress was gone for quite some time so as the food was arriving I was flagging her down to ask for assistance with the egg on the floor. Half of 1 of my pancakes felt a little like cardboard.. other than both of our plates being lukewarm at best, my Aunt enjoyed her Belgian waffle. She checked on us once about 15 mins after we received our meals and after another 25 mins I flagged her down for the check. After I paid she came back for the machine, that’s it. Didn’t say take care. thank you for stopping in. The hostess again and the young man at the front as we were leaving said goodbye and wished us a nice day. This is probably my worst overall experience here since...
