Always go to Bob Evans in Columbia, but went there for my brothers birthday recently. The waitress was nasty and talk down to us don’t know if because of our skin or what was her problem but she was acting like we was idiots and couldn’t read,
I order some French toast with eggs bacon and hash brown. my brother and my girlfriend ordered sandwich soup and salad.
The waitress was very rude. I am going to upload a picture and you could see the different in the menu items in which she act like I could not read. yourself did. I was very upset. I almost didn’t leave her a tip, but I am a tipper.
I definitely will go back but will request another waitress if she is still there.
I wouldn’t want her rude butt again. As far as my French toast it taste like soap water. Not sure if it was the syrup or toast.
I ordered hash brown, and I got home fries.
I asked for diabetic sugar and she gonna tell me the apples come with the meal has sugar in it.
I been taking care of my diabetes for over 14 years I know what I can have and what to watch out for. This is none of your business just bring me what I ask for.
the whole entire time she just kept getting smart with us. She’s lucky I was in a good mood because I was about to lay her out but I just let it go.
That’s why I’m writing this review and hopefully the manager will train her in the proper way to talk to customers especially if you work for tips.
If you’re going to work in customer service environment you need to watch what you say to customers and show them the same respect they show you.
noticeable she never gave us her name. Just complain about having to serve my extra guest if they were sitting down at end of table. what kind of foolishness is that?
She just was plain rude. I have never had an experience like this since I’ve been going to Bob Evans since I moved to Columbia seven years ago

I wanted to get some breakfast so I ordered through the BE website, I wanted to get some homestyle fries and I selected ( loaded) (thought it was about the quantity), I drove down picked up my order and went back home, i was going to eat and I noticed that I had bacon in my meal, i don't eat pork, so I called them to let them know, I spoke to two people, the first one was rude and asked what I needed so I let her know about the problem, she did not even mention she was going to put me on hold she literally, did not even ask me or tell me, she just put me on hold after waiting the manager talked to me SHE WAS SO RUDE, I let her know about the incident, she told me in RUDE WAY that it was my fault and she did not care, I asked for a replacement she said she could not send it and that i had to drive down to get it, so I drove all the way again, I went inside and in a polite way I asked if I could speak to the manager, she said she was the manager and I told her I just spoke to you on the phone, she responded by ( you are the customer that got the order wrong and she was smirking) I let her know that on the website it doesn't say that ( loaded) came with bacon but she did not care and I told her beside that the customer service was bad and she told me THAT I SUCKED, can you imagine I'm paying with my money to get treated this way, I was baffled and ill make sure next time I will never order food from any location again, I had friends and people telling me that they got the same treatment, I understand that the food industry is not easy and employees go through a lot of stress and negative treatment but they should not take I out on customers, if its not a job for you, leave and do something that makes you feel better. Now the server was terrible JENNA was her name never checked on us not one time after receiving our food well hold on rewind, we got our coffees when we sat down but no cutlery to stir our coffees i had to go and seek her after we asked for them. After that everything else was down hill from there if i was doing my dissertation i would get an A++ for word count. There was no eye contact i actually asked another server to get her attention because she never came back after we got our food she blatantly walked pass us i had to get her attention for something to drink. What makes matters worse the customers behind us i mean directly behind us she constantly checked on asked how everything was going if they Need boxes anything everything but mums the word When it came to us. Never have i ever been ignored by a server before at this magnitude. Now i didnt expect for her to be in our face every five minutes but Hell at least check up on us once without us having To come and get you. Jenna has totally ruined our bob evans experience. Seriously doubt we will patron Them again. Now i hate to make this a race issue but Was our lack of attention due to the color of skin since we were her only table that was not of caucasian decent .
