Restaurant Review: Authentic Mexican Buffet in Dundalk
Located in Dundalk, this authentic Mexican restaurant came highly recommended to me, especially for being one of the few genuine Mexican buffets in the Baltimore area. My wife and I love to explore new flavors and try a little bit of everything, so we were excited to check it out.
At just $25 per person, this buffet offers incredible value. The variety of tropical drinks is impressive—everything from horchata to tamarind juice, mango juice, and strawberry juice is available. The restaurant features family-style seating, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We began our culinary adventure with pork ribs in a flavorful green sauce, which were nothing short of amazing. We also indulged in birria tacos, complemented by rice and beans, and pozole with two different sauces. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and I could easily list more delicious options, but there were simply too many great dishes to mention!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to experience authentic Mexican cuisine. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their...
Read moreThe food was outstanding as we had tacos. I had 1 chix, 1 beef, and my coworker had 2 chicken. They were loaded with seasoned meats that were delicious and awesome sides. Minerva, our server and hostess was excellent and very nice. I can’t wait to go back and try more!!
Edited this review After my post as I was reading other reviews and I too was surprised at price at first, but everything today has shot up price wise. For $6 per taco with all sides included, this was fair price for this quality and portion. I’m a big guy and two filled me up. Make your own decisions but give them a try. Most reviews were solid here. Minerva is 3 months in business and very nice. If you have issues let her know, that’s fair!
3/27/25. Returned for lunch today, shrimp tacos. Food was delicious, hot, and came out fast. The atmosphere is really nice and authentic, it is still as strong as it was last year. You will not be surprised for a small location the quality...
Read moreThis place just opened in our neighborhood and we really wanted to love it but we have tried it twice and here is our experience: The people are nice and the service is good, but the food it not quite there, and the prices are too high for the area. $17 for 3 tacos. $8 for a juice. $20 for 3 small sopes that were made with clearly old corn flour with a musty taste, and when they gave us chips and salsa, the salsa was delicious, but the chips were completely coated in oil. We will hold off for a while and hopefully they can update their pricing and work on the food issues. I really hope they do as we would love to have a go-to spot within walking distance and this place has a ton...
