UPDATE! 12/18/2020 Ordered wings and sweet potato fries for pick up and they were the delicious! Staff was super friendly and kind as usual. Changing my stars from 2 to 3. Will try more take out soon. Thank you, Greene Turtle!

The good: Staff are friendly and greet you right away. The inside looks pretty cool and has flat screens everywhere including some in their booths. My husband and I ordered burgers and for the most part they were good and their tater tots are yummy as well. The fat tire beer cheese on my burger was so delicious! I also like that they offered apple slices as a side option for kids meals. Lastly, they have expeditors around the restaurant to help you table when your server is busy.

The not so good: We were told a 20 minute wait but that turned into a 35+ wait while watching other much larger parties get seated before us. But, it's Sunday and this a sports restaurant so we just assumed they were overwhelmed. When we got called to be seated we were hopeful that we would be seated in one of the smaller booths with a tv to keep our toddler entertained while we are eating. We were wrong. We were hastily placed in a tiny cocktail table meant for two in the corner of the restaurant facing away from every tv in the place. The table and it's chairs were wobbly and uncomfortable. Additionally, they had their bay doors open and fans going so we were freezing cold. The food was enough to redeem the restaurant except my husband fries and chesapeake burger were cold but at least the flavor was there. Their sweet tea tastes like it's made from powder and not freshly brewed. Really disappointed about that.

Verdict: Not family friendly on Sundays but the food was good enough that we would try the Greene Turtle again on a less busy sports day or through take out and be sure to specifically request booth seating to avoid being seated in the...

My husband and I decided to eat here last night. Food was over the top too salty. I had to drink something after every bite. If I had not been so hungry I would have sent it back. I ordered the blackened chicken wrap and my husband the cheesesteak. Once I removed the meat and lettuce from the wrap it was better. You should never add salt to anything that has parmesan cheese. I felt like they made the wrap and added salt before they rolled it. I initially ordered set potatoe fries. It came with regular. So salty I almost could not eat it. I mentioned to server about the fries and how salty the whole thing was. I told her I would keep the regular fries but do not charge me for the sweet potatoe ones. She said ok. 5 minutes later she was back with a basket of sweet potatoe fries on the house. Those were perfect. I did my happy dance as I ate the first few. They did not charge us the extra dollar. My husband tator tots were very good. However his cheesesteak sandwich was very bland. He substituted mozzarella for the flat iron beer cheese which may have had something to do with it. The waited had asked if he wanted double meat which he declined. After getting the sandwich he wished he had said yes... not enough meat in it. Also no green peppers which he expected and very little grilled onions. Overall he said it was OK but did not want to necessarily come back for another. Finally the music was so loud I could barely here my husband, unable to carry on a conversation without practically yelling at each other and leaning across the table. And we were on the other side of the room. I did not see salt and pepper on any table. And we had a tv but no idea how to change...

Seeing all these reviews practically all the same, i feel i shouldn't even post a review because mine is almost the same as everyone else's. we had a reservation on Sunday 07/31/2022 for 8 people at 7:45. it was 8:45 and still NO FOOD! yes, we had a large party. but the restaurant was NOT busy!!! the server said they were understaffed, which i understand. i used to be a cook and a server, i would cook food and then serve it to my customers, i did double the work! and i wasn't even getting paid to be a server that night, BUT i did it anyway to help the servers out and the other cooks. customer satisfaction was definitely made when i was a cook and a server. being understaffed is NO excuse for any party size to sit and wait hours on end for their food. sounds like you need to hire actual reliable employees. 2 of my party members food was wrong, took one of them back and just put it in the microwave because ALL of the food was cold! and he still brought it out wrong! he said and i quote "i made it" because my party member asked how it came back warmed up so quickly and the manager had enough nerve to come back and say "i made it that's why" that's BS. This is sad because we all like the green turtle and their food is good, but the managers slack and the servers slack and the cooks! its not acceptable, just because you gave us 2 free orders of the funnel cake fries and gave us all 10$ off our bills does not change the fact of how your "managing" your restaurant and how you do things. you need to get your acts together before you start to go under...
