The Original Rocky's Pizza Cascade & Creative Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

Love this place. We go here about once a month. Would be a lot more but it’s about an hour round trip from us. It’s still worth the drive every time. The Cheese Steaks are by far the best in the Tri-State. I go to Philly every now and then for concerts and sporting events and I would take Rocky’s Cascade over anything in the city.

My fiancé always orders the Snow White Pizza or The Stuffed Shells. We always get Cannolis or Gelato for dessert. We’re also big fans of The Colossal Mozzarella Sticks and The Cheese Fries.

I have introduced some of my family and friends to this place and they all loved it too. It’s also very close to beautiful Fort Ritchie as well as High Rock. Highly recommend visiting those places before or after you eat at Rocky’s.

The owner is very active on Facebook. He has a funny sense of humor. You should follow them so you can keep up to date with their many deals throughout the week. I always keep an eye out for The Cheese Wiz Cheesesteaks and the Cooper Cheesesteaks.

I should have made this review a long time ago, but I’m making it now because of the great experience I had last night. Had an order to go and one item was the Cheesesteak with hot pepper relish on the side. They accidentally put the relish on the sub. They noticed their mistake and corrected it by making me a brand new sub with relish on the side. They let me keep the mistake sub for free! I was lucky enough to have Steak subs for dinner 2 nights in a row lol. It really shows their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Thank you guys for the extra sub, I really appreciate it.

I ordered a special that came up on my facebook feed. I was allowed to order it on the phone. After driving 30 minutes to get there Brandon said as soon as i gave my name that they did not have that special that he allowed me to order and was charged full menu price for some items plus an additional 51 cents because Brandon made another mistake.The owner keeps insulting me that I do not know how to read but it is NOT my job to keep track of his daily specials. That would be his employees job to do that. The only reason this is not one star is because the cheesesteak was pretty good. Not 12 inches by any stretch of the imagination but good.( Im glad you took the 12 inches out of your new ads) The pizza was not. I have had rockys pizza at other rockys my entire life and this is NOT even close to what i have come to expect. The sauce was ok but the crust was bitter. If you arrive 30min after you order you will be waiting another 30 after you get there. It was almost empty on a fri evening at 5pm so i think the 500 pies in a night claim is a little exaggerated. Update.... These guys also have bad manners and do not take mediocre reviews well. I did not have to pay you anything and could have left. You may have brought a good recipe from Italy but you did not bring the water!!! Im sure your well water contains sulfur which would explain the bitter crust. I know good Italian food and you do not have it . Check my reviews. I have reviewed several Real Italian places and they all got 5 stars but you. There goes your just a complainer idea. You are rude, You insult your customers, and your employees feel the need to curse me out on facebook....

First of all, I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. My friends and I ordered from this garbage place for the first and last time. Seeing all of the low reviews from this place and how the owners reply to the negative reviews here is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, and I’ve worked in many food places so I know what I’m talking about. These people don’t know how to take criticism. We ordered cheese sticks that were absolutely undercooked. They were doughy as hell. We also didn’t receive our liter soda in our delivery order. We called the store and a lady owner picked up, saying that they could resend the driver out for our drink THAT WE PAID FOR. Next, the male owner comes on the phone and starts legit shaming us for tipping only $2 (we are COLLEGE STUDENTS, we don’t have that much money for us to buy dinner) and starts boasting “We have the best cheesesticks!” aggressively. He practically accused us about lying. Why the heck would we need to lie? The food WAS NOT COOKED, end of story. We offered to send photos and videos as proof. As a business, if someone calls with criticism, you listen and assist the customers. He was rude from the jump. He cursed us out and yelled so much. They changed their minds to send us our drink, refused to remake our food, and denied to refund us. Screw that guy, what an absolute jerk. Don’t waste your money...
