Uno Pizzeria in Deep Creek is more than just a place to grab a bite—it’s a whole experience. This restaurant sits right along Deep Creek Lake and offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor deck located on the second level, providing beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. Next door is the Honi Honi Bar, which isn’t owned by Uno’s but works closely with them. They serve Uno’s full menu and provide a more casual outdoor space with live music, especially in the evenings during the summer months. We visited during lunchtime, so it was quiet, but you could tell the place really comes alive later in the day. Inside, Uno’s has a warm, cozy feel with wooden beams, rustic décor, a large stone fireplace, and lodge-style lighting. It’s spacious and clean, with plenty of seating for both families and larger groups. There’s also a full bar inside if you prefer to stay indoors. Behind the restaurant, there’s a grassy area between the building and the lake with a playground and cornhole boards—a nice spot for families to unwind. Just watch your step out there, as the local geese have left plenty of “souvenirs” on the lawn. One of the coolest features is that you can even dock your boat and walk right up to eat, which adds to the laid-back, lakeside charm. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking in on us without being overbearing. She did a good job and happily honored our request to have the chicken on our salad blackened. As for the food: • We started with mozzarella sticks. They were tasty but a bit pricey and fairly standard overall. • We also ordered a 14-inch thin crust pizza with crumbled sausage, pepperoni, and peppers. The pizza was great—crispy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The crumbled sausage was especially good. • We shared a grilled chicken salad and were impressed with the freshness and portion size. The blackened chicken gave it a nice touch of seasoning. Uno’s has a wide-ranging menu beyond just pizza, including sandwiches, pastas, salads, and appetizers, so there’s something for everyone. Combine that with the lake view and next-door live music scene, and it’s easy to see why this is a go-to spot in Deep Creek. Final Thoughts: If you’re visiting Deep Creek and want good food, friendly service, and a relaxing lakeside vibe, Uno’s is a great choice. Whether you’re coming by car or pulling up by boat, you’ll enjoy the experience—and likely want to return.

I took my family of four to Uno Pizzeria & Grill on a busy Saturday afternoon around 3pm on January 28th, 2023. The restaurant is located right on Deep Creek lake on the main street (219) about a three miles south of Wisp resort. There restaurant is large and has round table and booth seating with a nice bar near the front side. There is also an outdoor seating area and a lot of space to walk around in warmer seasons. We were greeted by a hostess and seated almost immediately. Once seated we were sitting about 15 minutes before we had to pull a waitress over and ask where our server was. About a minute later the manager came over and apologized for the wait and took our order on the spot. A waitress stopped at the table after and asked if we needed anything. Our food came out about 15 minutes later. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak and my family ordered the Honey Chicken Salad, and single pizza and a kid sized pizza. All of the food was prepared well and tasted great. The check came and we saw that they took 50% of the total of the bill. We were pleasantly surprised that they acknowledged our bad experience and turned it into a good one. I didn't get the name of the manager that was working at the time but I would like to personally thank her for going out of her way to make our dining experience better. I would highly recommend this location as they provide excellent customer service and the food is very good.

You know a place is special when the food is just one part of the experience. That's definitely the case with this pizza spot. The moment you arrive, you're greeted with breathtaking views that make you want to linger long after you've finished your meal. It's the kind of place where you can relax and truly take in your surroundings, whether you're catching a sunset or just enjoying the open sky. What's really great about this restaurant, especially if you have a family, is that it's designed for more than just eating. The on-site playground and wide-open field are a fantastic way to keep everyone entertained while you wait for your food. Instead of kids being cooped up and restless, they can run around, play, and burn off some energy. It turns what could be a boring wait into an enjoyable part of the outing. And you can't beat a place that combines fantastic views with a little bit of fun for the whole family.

Super long and detailed review.

I checked the online menu before coming and had an appetizer, sandwich, and dessert picked out. Upon arrival the menu was entirely different and none one of my selected items was on the menu. I admit to being a picky eater but there was maybe one or two menu items I could eat (vegetarian) and was very disappointed. One person in our party ordered water and it never arrived. After waiting patiently for a while he got up and went over to the drink spot and asked someone else for a water. Malibu bay breeze came with peach schnapps and vodka in it. Waitress explained that everyone makes a Malibu Bay Breeze differently. Not really true. Our waitress finally came over to get our food order and talked to one person in our party of 7 for a good ten minutes before starting taking our orders (after telling us to order quickly because the kitchen was behind). She also would say “don’t order that it’s not good” when someone would order something she didn’t like.

Now on to what was ordered vs what came:

Fish sandwich ordered with no bread supposed to come with lettuce. Was just plain fish with an unmelted Kraft slice on bread. Burger ordered with cheese, tomato, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup. Came with nothing but grilled onions. Burger ordered plain with nothing on it with normal fries, came with all toppings and sweet potato fries. We think our waitress stole this burger from another order because we had to wait so long. The person who ordered this burger also ordered wings and the wings never came until the manager came out and asked. Everyone was done eating by the time the plain burger/fries and chicken Cesar salad arrived. Chicken Cesar salad entree ordered, side salad with no chicken came. When the manager came towards the end she brought him his chicken one. Everyone was done eating by the time the plain burger/fries, wings, and chicken Cesar salad arrived. Sweet potato fries were ordered but didn’t come until asking/reminding 3 times. Most everyone liked their food once it came but I didn’t.

The manager reduced our bills by 50% without us even asking which was nice but probably means she’s used to doing that. The checks were divided into 3 groups and two of the groups had items that belonged to a...

This will be a long review about everything my afternoon consited of. First off the restaurant is beautiful and the seating was great a solid A grade. Next we were seated promptly by a lady with a great attitude another solid A. Now things begin to get bad. Our waiter comes out and asks us what we would like to drink I stated I would like a root beer because most restaurants have it and they did but when my fiance and sister asked what drinks they had it was like the waiter was to busy in her own thoughts to answer there questions WE HAD TO ASK THREE TIMES WHAT THE DRINKS WERE and then finally she says oh Pepsi products. I wish I could remember her name but none of our group could. But we do have an upside food did come out promptly and the appatizers were great the crab dip and mozzarella sticks were fantastic. So my sister ordered chicken tenders and fries she loved them her fiance ordered buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and a salad both were great but me and my fiance both ordered a burger and this was the biggest disappointment of the whole trip my burger comes out and looks great but oh boy was it deceiving. The mushrooms were great the onions and everything were great but everyone knows what the most important part of the burger is right? THE BURGER the dam thing was so dry and cold like it was sitting on the counter for 1 hour because it was burnt and when I mean burnt it tasted like I was chewing on a charred peice of wood. My fiance's wasn't much better but hers was edible I lost my appetite after a few bites. But the upside is the manger did take car of all the issues my fiance got a new burger which was actually fresh and juicy. And she took my burger off the bill and gave us a complementary discount. I was really hoping for this place to be great but it wasn't in my eyes I could of overlooked the bad waiter if my food was good but sadly it wasn't. Please my recommendation reevaluate your cooks and waiters and I may come back but after my experience even tho the manger did all she could to help I don't think I...
