Cabin Lodge Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

Stopped by the Cabin Lodge Grill on a whim Sunday afternoon and what a treat it was! We were famished after spending a few hours in Swallow Falls State Park, and wanted to grab something to eat.

We had the cheesesteak eggrolls, mac and cheese, veggie burger, French fries and two bottled drinks for $40. It may seem pricey for a roadside grill however the food was absolutely incredible. The veggie burger blew me away, making up for a terrible one I had the night before at Ace's Run. It was crispy, seasoned well and had different vegetables inside without anything overwhelming the flavor. And the French fries... holy smokes! They were so good. Nice and brown, perfect amount of salt and a huge portion for only $5. The cheesesteak eggrolls were unique and definitely something we will try to recreate at home.

First thing first just order the crabby fries.

This place is great. Not only does it have an incredible view of the lake it serves up some great fresh food. A bunch of us ordered the crabby hush puppies, crabby fries, bacon wrapped hotdog, cheesesteak egg rolls and the Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent we could not stop talking about how good it was. The crabby fries were next level and a definite must have. We stopped for lunch at Cabin Lodge Grill and got crab fries, chicken tenders, and a Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Our service was friendly and fast. While we waited for food we noticed there were a few things we could do while we waited. We could’ve looked out to the lake which provides a fantastic view, we could’ve also gotten ice cream, donuts, or shopped, all things which were feet away from this establishment.
