My GO TO place (in the ENTIRE area VS: starbucks (meh) & bridge coffee (not worth it))

for morning coffee on 1)taste/buzz 2)cost 3) comfy environment 4) variety & mixability × flexibility 5) wifi accessibility

$2.50 in house recognizable home cup

drink as much as you like/need of (Honduras light, french vanilla/irish coffee, darks : french roast, "black pearl, decaf). I like 70%light & one of the darks for rest..

A nice touch is Torani cane sugar "simple" syrup pump vs wasteful sugar packets... mixes easily & quickly, plus usual low fat milk and half n half

and real butter large sized chocolate chip cookie for $1.50 (easily beating cookie company across bridge in all categories) or 3 mini cinnamon rolls..ask to heat them up (microwave) for best yum & smell

Happy self service

Napkins at table.

Iced Water in plastic is decent nothing remarkable for tap.. maybe lemon slice.

Roaster is local Vanelli Roasters (vs bridge)

Fyi I'm super skilled in caffeine jedi arts .. make best coffee ever but equal opportunity caffeinator & enjoyer (learn more from goox enough to outright bad coffee than i do from best of best (all good nothing to complain about.. by definition.. it's all good))

3 cups of and I'm optimally caffeinated/ cognitative for sorting through thoughts and getting ideas out.. which as a cozy cost conscious prosumer consumer is what counts when I'm out & about... want to be reminded of home and family (pets on lap, friends over etc)

Env can be chatty sometimes loud but as well as can be expected..to decent place for client meetings/dates inside&out (and on mobile) many group meetings I've seen there.

Nice any time vibe..art and community party photos, fun place to people watch.

Bathroom...

Update 5/11/23: Decided to give it another chance for lunch but I wish their dinner menu (starts at 2) was a little more substantial. I understand a menu of salads, charcuterie, and apps with wine and beer for the late afternoon and evening; but someone who has lunch at 2pm something a little more substantial would be appreciated. Perhaps serving a few sandwiches or a small side in addition to the salads and flatbreads? When you can get something more filling for the same price it’s hard to want to choose this place over the others downtown. Baked goods are always a win: delicious, giant, and a great treat.

(Original post) I used to go here all the time but after they came under new ownership, every experience there has been terrible. Every time I go I ask if the person can make a London fog, they say yes but that’s not what I receive. They forget to add flavor, they forget sugar, they don’t even steam the milk. Every time they are apologetic and promise to do better next time, but each time has gotten progressively worse. And I did try to give them benefit of the doubt and kept going back these past two years in hopes things would get better, but again every time I am disappointed. I try to support local but when I’m paying $4 for a small London Fog and it’s basically just regular tea (no flavoring or steamed milk), I’m feeling cheated. I would rather just buy a box of tea for the same price or go to Starbucks and actually receive my...

Very nice location and atmosphere, and very tasty coffee drinks. The food is good, but seems a bit overpriced and nothing I'd call phenomenal. There are definitely some things that could be improved.

I was in there today with a friend, and while our coffees tasted great, both of us commented that they weren't nearly hot enough. A bit lukewarm, almost tepid. In fairness, the barista DID ask if they were alright and likely would have remade them for us if we asked her to.

I ordered the French dip with a clam chowder side, which was pretty tasty, but had a fairly large piece of shell in it that minorly chipped one of my molars. I mentioned it to our waitress, who then spoke to the cook, and she returned with his apologies and asking if I was wanting to get a refund or something different. I told her no, that I didn't want to cause any trouble, and just wanted to make sure they knew so they could check things a bit more thoroughly.

Chances are I won't be returning in the future, but I do want to be fair to them and point out that they DO make good tasting food and drinks, and DID offer to fix, replace, or refund the problems I...

My mom and I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago for the first time. The place is so cute and comfortable, the outdoor seating looked really nice too. Our food came out hot and so quick. The ladies at the counter weren’t the friendliest, but I get it, it was early. The coffee and drink options are HUGE! Loved the chalkboard menus and reading all of the different options. I had the lemonade and mad it was so refreshing and delicious. We sat at the bar and it was great. The women bussing tables were really friendly and fast. I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment and the women I spoke to during breakfast and through email when they contributed to our Squadron Christmas Party, we are so appreciative and thank you so much! Can’t wait to bring my husband here for a meal when he gets home from deployment! Thanks again
