We're not from around here, we decided to stop here as the reviews looked good and so did the outside of the place. We walked in we felt like we picked a good place. We have good vibes as soon as we walked in. We were greeted with a smile even through her mask and she let us pick were we'd like to sit. That's bonus points in our book! We found a booth and Dawn quickly followed over and asked us if we wanted drinks. She handed up menus and brought us water. She even gave us reccomendations like we asked if she had any. Then the server Joel came over to see if we were ready to order. He's amazing and love the personality!!! He gave us his reccomendations as well when we asked him & reassured us that all the meats were fresh, even without us asking! We went with it and order they're 2 best sandwhich! Joel even reccomed a drink as I'm so indecisive lol. Drink is amazing. When the food came it looked sooooo AMAZING!!! Joel nailed it 1000000%!!!!! My Boyfriend and I shared the stake sandwich and we LOVVVVEEEEDD THEM!!! we live in Sacramento and will definitely make the drive to come here!! We absolutely love everything! Read moreGo early!!! Very busy, if you don't mind eating at the bar it will cut the wait by two thirds, but come late - youll wait!! I've only been twice but it is my new place to go to, why? The selection of beers is good, talk to the ladies behind the bar for recommendations, they know their beers! As for the food it was good too, on my first visit I had the rack of ribs(full) with the jacket potato. My second trip I had the ribeye, that was cooked exactly as i asked, with fries. A lot of people are catered for during the course of the evening but the kitchen close at 10pm, the beer goes on until the usual time, but like I said, be early. June 9-2023, 7:45pm. On repeat visits, (several now) For me it's the steak. Blue with fries (a taste of heaven), and for her it's the ribs which she loves. We've found what we like and we go for that! After living in Yuba for five years, we finally decided to give Silver Dollar Saloon a try. Walking in, it honestly felt like stepping into an old Western movie—unfortunately, not in a good way. If you’re not a local, you’ll definitely feel the stares, like you just walked into a place where you’re not exactly welcome.
We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, a chili cheeseburger and fries, plus some fried mozzarella sticks. We originally wanted the pastrami sandwich and the pickle fries, but they were out of both. That alone had us thinking about walking out, but we had already ordered drinks: a Red Bull vodka, a shot of whiskey, and two Coors Lights (they were out of Budweiser too).
Service was slow, and when the food finally came, everything was cold—including the chili on the chili cheeseburger. No flavor at all; tasted like it came straight out of a can or the freezer.
