China Moon — Restaurant in Marysville

The Restaurant is open for business and their food is like eating Grandma's best of her food menu... They have that Home cooked food that's really tasty and plentiful portions that by the way have a refrigerator life of @ least 4-6 days as they don't put anything that in most eateries need to be eaten and take home and eat w/in a day or so...

Their Beef, Chicken Prawns and and other seafood dishes are in a class of their Own and Vegetarian dishes that the carnivores can find satisfaction in eating.

It's been in small-town Marysville that was California's State Capitol during the Gold Rush era and I know the Governor's Grandaughter who's another story when I visit her business and share it and History she'll speak of.

In closing, the Owner of China Moon gives a feeling you've known him since birth as his attitude, fact info if their 40 plus years (approximate) is one incredible journey into why Marysville, California deserves to be known if and lived in when the Big City Life consumes you and Families piece of mind.

Rude! Use to love this place. I feel strongly in supporting small local business owners....tough economy they can use all the help they can get. Brought my children and family members frequently years ago. Moved back here from east coast and made this place our first stop.

First visit the owner or staff was slightly hostile when taking our order and was frigid as we paid bill. Gave them a benefit of the doubt because maybe caught them on a bad night. Second attempt, came in about 15 to 20 min prior to closing......promptly showed our family the door said they were closing. Silly silly me, month or two later i tried to call to see if they did catering service for my son's b-day. The rudely said "No" and hung up.

What heck was that all about? Do they not care that some customers try to go out of their way to patronage their business. Trust me there is other restaurants within local vicinity who are nice gracious and welcome your business. I am an easy going customer and it takes a lot to get me to get me miffed. : ) hence my first negative review ever written.....parking area is very vacant everyday....could this be attributed to their poor treatment of...

Absolutely gross! 🤢 I don't know how this place is still open. Last night I called in for dinner for two, and the guy answered with hello? Then i asked if this was China moon, thinking I misdialed. I ordered the most expensive dinner for two ,fried calamari, pork chow mien with vevy little pork, cashew chicken , beef broccoli with hot and sour soup. The calamari was 4 small pieces, very mushy and smelled bad. The entrées were the same brown sauce but one had very little chicken and the other mostly broccoli with a tiny bit of beef, the soup was a very small portion of bland watery yuck. When I picked my order there was only one table of customers and the restaurant was very dirty. This use to be my go to place years ago, but the quality and quantity of the food i got was disgusting , small portions and nearly vegan 🫣 and yes the majority of it went...
