The Great 18 Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Mason

Very nice server, great food, Horrible, just horrible mangers. We were on the outside patio and had been there for hours supporting the restaurant and hired band. (I think it was the Redemption's). It is 10:30 PM and the band announces last song and the restaurant is about to close down. Half way through the song on person (alone) from our table get up and starts to dance. The two managers freak out. Shutting the band down and start yelling at all the tables in the front row. Then announce they will never hire the band back and it was our fault because we had a person from our table get up and dance. I understand with Covid 19 there are some pressures restaurants are under so I am trying to be reasonable. First, these two managers need to be let go they are not managers. They didn't manage a situation, the customers, employees or the band properly. Second, these two managers were 30 seconds away from the night being over. Why in the world did you make such a big scene? Third, It wasn't the bands fault someone danced. So why are you going to punish them? The did their job very well entertaining the crowd. Lastly I would just like to say No mater what Governor Dewine's goofy rules are I think as an American you have a constitutional right to dance by yourself...

The course restaurant has never been worse. One person working the bar during a busy lunch crowd and you’re made to go to bar and order your drinks/food. Some of our group got their food others didn’t(bartender said kitchen lost the orders). When we went to pay the bartender started printing dozens(and I’m not exaggerating) of tabs we had to look through to find ours. Paid and left and trust me this group will never be back. Went to Courseview tonight - very hot but started out to be a very nice reunion of friends -went to say hello to old neighbors at another table -was stopped by Scott and was told to go back to my table that I couldn't visit another table -I apologized and went back to my table 20 minutes later saw a gentleman get up and go to another visit for awhile no one said a thing-guess it is women that can't go visit other tables!
