Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Mason

Torn, because I LOVE the food and smoothies, but there seems to be a serious disconnect with their delivery service. (Which appears to be Door Dash, but if you order it through Door Dash, everything is up-charged a ridiculous amount, instead of the regular pricing and free delivery on their website even though they just use door dash. Very confusing.) What I mean is that I used to be able to order for delivery where I worked, then our of the blue it stopped allowing me to do so, even though the manager has no idea why it won't allow it, especially since I can still get it delivered if I order straight through Door Dash rather than the Tropical Smoothie Cafe's website, but I don't want to pay the ridiculous upcharges from Door Dash. This problem has not been resolved despite efforts on my part and the managers part to figure out who to contact about it.

Recently I ordered for delivery to a different location, and I ordered at 6:26 and website said would be delivered by 7:31. It is 7:45 and food still isn't here. I have called them and they have called the door dash driver who is apparently on the way, but that doesn't help me...

There was bad and good which made this rating difficult.

They messed up 2 of our sandwiches and forgot to give us the plastic cup we paid for.

They redeemed themselves when we asked to get the cup taken off the bill since we didn't get it with our smoothie in it. They gave is the cup and refunded the price of it (they actually offered to refund the whole meal but we couldn't allow that).

They first only took the tomatoes off my wife's sandwich instead of making a new one. That was unacceptable. When we pointed it out the manager had the sandwich re-made and gave us free cookies for the inconvenience. I was very impressed with the manager but because of everything else I'm not sure about the rest...

The atmosphere here was amazing. Good Music, Vibrant colors, Nice set up, etc. Our food and smoothies were great. The two girls working on 7/20 were so nice and had great customer service. The man that was working on the other hand did not. He was on the phone while taking my order. He barley paid attention to me and I had to repeat my order two to three time. While he was making our smoothies, he was handling his phone. This seems very unsanitary and quite upsetting to me. After making one smoothie (we had quite a few) he left the girls and went outside to sit on the phone. It made me and my family...
