Not sure where to even begin. Hate to leave negative reviews but the experience at this place was just so bad I feel like I have to do a public service and warn others. We were a party of 2 and both decided to try a flight of beers because it was so hard to choose from their expansive beer list. Only to experience Groundhog Day over and over as our server took our flight lists to the bar just to come back and tell us the beers we ordered were out. I’m not exaggerating when I say this back and forth went on at least 4-5 times before I gave up and just told the server I’m not going to make another guess at what you do or don’t have (that is listed on their menu) just for you to come back and tell me you don’t have it. I felt sooo bad for this server. After all, it certainly wasn’t her fault that 8-10 beer we tried to order from the menu they didn’t actually have. I know she dreaded coming back to our table each time and apologizing again for not having what we ordered. At one point I asked to speak to the manager. Our server came back with another wrong beer menu promising us that this one was one that we ordered. The manager said so himself. What a joke. It was a dark stout beer. We had ordered a light wheat. These people have no clue what their doing. For being a place that claims to have 50 some odd beers on tap - can you really claim that when you don’t actually have half of what’s on your menu. Management is a joke. Sending your servers out to fail at their table with customers over and over and over without having the courtesy to come to the table yourself. Never came. Was super excited to have a cool new place to have beers after work and on the weekend. But sadly, this place ain’t it and can’t say this first experience makes me ever want to go back. After 45 minutes of not getting a beer we could order we eventually just left without ordering food. Just so...
Read moreWe stopped in for a late lunch around 1:30pm on a Sunday. They still had brunch available till 2 pm, which was tempting, but we opted for lunch instead. Their menu had a TON of beer and drink options including a pitcher of mimosa option. We landed on ordering a beer for my husband and a mimosa for myself (which came in a cute cocktail glass). Starting out, we ordered the Bavarian pretzel (not knowing the size). We then proceeded to order one kid's meal(grilled cheese and tortilla chips), a Californian pizza, chicken bites, and my husband ordered a burger and their loaded fries. The pretzel came out first, and we were floored, it was huge! The pretzel was great for sharing, and the dips had excellent flavor. Then the rest of the food arrived shortly thereafter and at this point everything was delicious and came quickly so we were quite pleased. When the waitress came to check on us we said we'd need some boxes she said no problem and ran off (we thought to get our boxes and check) but didn't return for some time and when she did she didn't have boxes or our check. This continued on for a while, and we ended up spending a lot longer at the restaurant than we needed to because we couldn't get our check and boxes to leave. We were probably done eating within an hour of being seated which is perfect but ended up waiting an extra 45 mins to get our check and boxes to leave which was frustrating but they seemed like they might have been down a waitress that day which would explain the delay to checkout. Ultimately, it sucked to wait so long after eating with our 2.5 year old twins, but I won't hold it against them, and we'll be back again...
Read moreUnfortunately, we won’t go back. We really wanted to like this place. $55 for two beer, one sub par pretzel, and undercooked wings. Took an hour and half for that. Crazy! Took 20 min to get a beer (both times wrong beer brought out), no kids burgers, actually no burgers as the “grill was down.” We learned this after ordering. After seeing pictures on here looks like a frozen product, we may have dodged a bullet. Wings were soft and not cooked well. Pretzel is so big it doesn’t fit in the tiny sauce containers and if you need more of anything you can’t get it. Slow service, probably her first time ever serving. We saw her maybe twice. We get working out the kinks of a new place; however, we all left hungry …. And spent $55 for two beers, one giant pretzel without enough sauce and 8 wings….$55 for 4 things is crazy, when nothing was worth eating again. I’m bummed as we really wanted a new burger place. They tried to sell pizza or Mac and cheese since the grill was down, but we came for burgers and beer. I ate a bowl of cereal at home after because I was still hungry. Darn. I will stick with Bag of Nails across the street. That’s consistent...
