Erie Street Pub — Restaurant in Massillon

I had a bad experience here about 3 years ago, but today I decided to see if things had changed. The patio was busy today, but the inside was pretty much dead. I should have taken that as a red flag. It took about 15 minutes for someone to notice us and take our drink order. My guest ordered the Garlic Parmesan Wings and I had the Bacon Burger. We ordered an appetizer of the mozzarella sticks, but they did not arrive until our meal was ready. As we were waiting for our food, I saw another guest pull a hair out of her fish sandwich. You guys made her another, but it came out way after the rest of the people at her table were done eating. I should have ran, I really should. Once we got our food he was happy with what he ordered, but I was annoyed. You guys forgot to put American cheese on my burger, which is how the menu specified it would be made. Who forgets cheese on a burger that is meant to have cheese on it? I would've asked for it to be done right, but after seeing the wait the other lady endured, I just ate it. After today I remembered why I haven't been back in 3 years. This was the last for me. I've been to Erie a few times before, nice place but I don't see myself going back. If you just want to get drunk sure it's a bar, I went for a meal and I think that was my problem LOL... We got there right before the rush and my waitress came got our order.. we ordered an appetizer and two burgers.. then she left to go take care of tables. Our food came out but it wasn't our appetizer it was our two burgers and when I asked about our appetizer they looked at me like I was speaking French.. they never placed our appetizer, which OK happens but we are told by a different waitress I will check on it for you. Another about 15 or so minutes before a different waitress brought us our food. Then our original waitress came by and asked if everything was okay I said sure, she walked away I finish my beer and I was like okay next time I see her I'll ask for extra.. I didn't see her again until we got her check. The whole time we were there I've only saw our waitress three times and I saw two other witches. They were running around like they didn't know what was going on. The food was okay at best. But a very slow service and very confused staff kind of just turn me off. I mean this in the nicest way because they were sweet, but I think you guys...

I don’t even want to give them 1 star but what can you do. Anyways, our waitress got a good $50-60 tip from our table of 10 people, our bill came out to $14.90 which turned into $34 because the waitress helped herself to a $20 tip on our card. The manager refuses to look into the situation, refuses to reimburse and refuses to show the surveillance cameras for proof. The waitress stated that we came in all heavily intoxicated which bye is a lie. I came in sober and left sober as did some other people we were with. I had 1 sprite, that’s it so tell me again how I was intoxicated, especially to the point where I wouldn’t be able to remember what happened while we were there on top of being right next to the person and seeing for myself that he DID NOT write in a tip for her instead left her cash on the table??? -10/10 would not recommend unless you don’t care about waitresses writing in their own tips. Apparently they’ve had problems when it comes to bills quite a few times before. This place is shady af and doesn’t even deserve a single star.Cops have been called and a report...
