I know every restaurant faces many challenges these days, but I feel Nick's was one of the old steady rocks in town a reliable unwaivering constant. You know what your getting, but they have been not quite the same anymore... Little things but enough to not draw us back. For example a ham and cheese sub... It used to be stuffed with a one inch layer of ham. It wasn't the highest quality ham, but they were generous and got your desired toppings Right every time. Now the Price has gone Way up like everything (we understand it's necessary) but also there's hardly any ham in there. I don't mind paying more for the steady quality, but not when it's gone down. They don't repeat back the details of your order when you order and often don't get the toppings Just Right. When you pay increased price, you expect somebody to listen and get it right. Also our pizzas are not cooked consistently each time. It seems like they might've changed crust dough. It's not the same. They have the ability to be the Best around, but doesn't seem like they are keeping it together! We love you guys a steady town spot, I Hope you can manage to pull through back to a previous standard! I do understand it's also difficult to keep good people working these days. Keep at it! 🙏

Very delicious, but disappointing service on a Friday night. Took 15 minutes longer than quoted. As the pizza came out, we saw them placing toppings on and then they handed us the pizza. They clearly forgot to put an ingredient on before the oven and tried to pass it off. When challenged, they admitted it and made another pizza. Took over an hour to finally get the pizza we ordered. They gave us the pizza for free and it was delicious as usual. This score reflects the original service, not the food quality. Hoping our next visit will be good.

Went to nicks pizza for dinner. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a Dr. Pepper. The pizza was very good. I added bacon to it and the bacon was crispy and added a nice crunch when I ate. The pizza was cook very well not burnt and not undercooked. As you can see from the pix even the bottom was cooked well.

Customers Beware!!! This pizza place closes a half hour earlier than they promise on their door and on their website. I called to order a pizza at 9:02 and their hours say they are open until 9:30 and the woman answering the phone said they closed early because it was "slow." They have done this on more than two occasions. This is very poor business and I don't understand why the owner would approve the restaurant closing early when employees are usually paid for the hours they are scheduled to work and a half hour extra to keep your word to customers should mean something. What if a customer drove out of their way to arrive thinking they had nearly a half hour before closing and saw it closed. If the owner did in fact approve for his employees to close early, he should change the restaurant's hours. I have been a good customer of this pizza shop for many years, but this is wrong and I hope either the owner reads this or someone tells the owner about...

I’ve been going to Nick’s since my childhood, back when my friend’s dad owned and made Nick’s. I moved away from the tri-town about 20 years ago, but every year when I come back, I make a point to stop in because I love the pizza, especially broccoli pizza.

I’ve tried to find something like Nick’s out in Worcester and can’t, which is why it’s such a big deal to me when I return. But tonight was disappointing. Whoever the new owner is, this message is for you: please put things back the way they were. You’re changing what made Nick’s special. The sauce tonight was off, and overall the pizza just wasn’t the same. YOU ARE WRECKING NICKS.

Nick’s is a staple in Mattapoisett. Please don’t ruin that. I’ll be back next year, and I truly hope to see the original Nick’s back...
