Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Matthews

They didn’t give me what I ordered. What I got was dried out and small. I ordered the 3 chicken strip combo with fries and a biscuit. My box had NO Biscuit but I did get the fries and three tiny dried out morsels of “chicken”. They where more concerned about getting orders out quickly and the locals out the door. I miss the Country Pride cafe. I’m disappointed in you TA, I hope your profit margins are what you hope for at the expense of the professional drivers. This just sucks. This is one of the better TA’s I stop at to fuel. Your fuel desk people are on point and the place is tidy and clean! The fuel island doesn’t have the issue as prevalent as others with the drivers camping out on the fuel island taking a 30 minute break and ordering Popeyes!

Update! Please see this redacted review! I walked past a long line at Popeyes to order some Taco Bell. Taco Bell was closing so I got in line at Popeyes. I owe The Matthew Missouri TA Popeyes an Apology!!!! Your Food and Staff are stellar! I live near Sikeston, MO. My boyfriend and I came up here two days ago to have some dinner. I got him the 10 piece meal, and I had the 6 piece tender meal. Unfortunately my boyfriend didn’t check the bag before I drove off (rookie mistake) ;) and we got clear home, to realize our 10 piece meal was not there. We decided to drive back, and this teenager wanted to argue with my boyfriend that that wasn’t on the order. The good thing is, it came out of my bank account, and it was a mobile order, so I had my mobile receipt. This girl who was literally heaven sent, took over, and remade my entire order, not just the 10 piece meal. She was so nice, and she wasn’t rude when I asked her for sauces, unlike some other workers. She definitely went the extra mile, and that was very appreciated! Our whole meal was just so delicious, but the chicken was near being old, which she had asked if we could wait 20 minutes for some fresh chicken, but we couldn’t. So that’s kind of my fault. Very impressive Popeyes! I have been missing this place so much, because the only other one is in Cape Girardeau. I’m so happy...

I asked everyone to watch what they charging you because they be charging extra I don’t know what’s the purpose of it so they can get their gold or what, but they are not professional whatsoever, I asked for small fountain drink he’s asking me $3.49 When I say I don’t want it hit turn around.
