I see this place packed quite a bit and made my first visit recently. This place has gone under many names and probably past owners. It is very small and what some may consider a dive bar. It was very clean, has a 99% health inspection score and the prompt staff.
The menu is a simple menu but with variety. It is easy to read and prices are reasonable. The food was excellent and filling.
There is WiFi here using the Spectrum network. To use it, you need to be a Spectrum customer.
Lots of monitors to watch TV / sports. The restaurant is 2 levels with an outside area in the back. Downstairs are some video games, board games, couches and recliners. Outside has some seating and a couple outdoor games.
Keno is also available to play.
My only complaint is that the music was a bit loud. But as other customers started coming in, it didn't seem as loud with all the chatter.
Also, our visit was a bit on the cooler side. Due to the size, as people came and went, it got chilly due to the outside air rushing in. So, if it's on the cooler side, bring something to wear to keep you warmer.
Overall, great experience. Look forward to...
Read moreVery cool spot! Prices are reasonable. They have a very good beer selection, full bar and a diverse but somewhat small menu with some very good items.
My parents split the turkey club served on a croissant, which was very tasty. They also ordered the beer Mac and cheese, which was out of this world.
I heard their wings were good so I ordered the pollinator wings which was a sauce done with mustard, honey and curry. What an amazing blend of flavors! Perfectly cooked, crispy but not dried out.
This gem has been known by a few different names before. I had never been in to the previous restaurants before but I know that the new owner Chad has really put a lot of hard work into this place and it shows. He has completely redone the inside, it has so much character. There is a whole downstairs lounge with classic game consoles and board games and I was told that they even have bands on the weekends. I certainly hope this place is...
Read moreThis is a "no" for me. Had the "roast beast" sandwich. Had a strange taste to it. The service was friendly, but the food took too long for as busy as they weren't. This is definitely a no frills place. A can of soda is served with a cheap thin plastic cup (red solo cups would be an upgrade). I enjoy "hole-in-the-wall" places...and I was hoping the food would offset the no frills like many places do. This was not the case.
I can see why regulars like the place. It's small, clean and "homey"...it was a house turned restaurant and you can tell they put thought and a lot of work into creating a nice place on a budget. I was impressed by their choices. People seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maybe it's my fault for not trying...
