The Castle — Restaurant in Mattoon

I have not ever left a bad review for a place, but last night left a bad taste in my mouth. Normally we can go into the Castle and have a great time. The bartenders are awesome!!! Monica is my favorite! She is kind, attentive, and really cares about the place. Last night however was a totally different experience. We were caught out front before we even walked in the door by the managers husband trying to intimidate my boyfriend ( not a good plan he is a big guy and not one i would try fighting on purpose) We laughed it off and went in sat down and had a beer. The food has always been good, although we tend to stick with burgers and salads here. Service is attentive, especially on weeknights.
