We were lucky enough to find Kilo’s after a super busy morning sightseeing on the road to Hana. The food here was absolutely amazing. We had the loco moco, the bbq kalua pork sandwich, and the panko mahimahi. All of it was delicious. Fortunately we ate at the food truck because the food was so good we ordered extra meals to go. Loco moco - the local beef patties were seared perfectly and fork tender. The brown gravy was thick and rich. A forkful of rice, beef, gravy, and egg all coated with silky egg yolk was a little bite of Hawaiian heaven. BBQ kalua pork sandwich - the pork was slightly smoky and salty and the bbq sauce was a perfect counterpoint of sweetness. Topped with homemade slaw this sandwich was melt in your mouth tender. Everyone in our group shared a second order of the kalua pork sandwich and we all ate until we were uncomfortably full. One of my coworkers is planning a first trip to Maui with his family and asked me to bring back recommendations for them. Kilo’s has earned a spot on our must do list when in Maui. A nice long morning on the Road to Hana, watching surfers, swimming in waterfalls, playing at a black sand beach, and a late lunch at Kilo’s was a perfect day...

Wow did we get lucky finding Kilo’s! We just happened to drive past on our way to the Red Sand Beach and could not be happier that their sign caught our eye. We ordered four dishes and loved them ALL.

The panko mahi-mahi was PHENOMENAL— great Tatar sauce too. So crispy and delicious on the outside and then buttery and flaky fish inside. The chicken katsu was crunchy, juicy, and addictive. The Kalua Pork sandwich was a messy delight— succulent pork and satisfyingly crunchy slaw with a good sauce. The burger was the only entree that I’d say was merely really good and not incredible! The macaroni salad had a bit too much Mayo for my taste but made for a delicious topping on the fries or rice when eaten together.

Altogether, we stopped out of curiosity and convenience and were rewarded with one of our favorite meals in Maui! Definitely one of the rare deals as portion sizes were generous and prices reasonable. I can’t recommend this enough as your road to...

Just back from another trip to Hana and among the many outstanding food trucks, Kilo’s Kitchen stands out as our top pick. Whether you’re craving a burger with crispy fries, a fish sandwich, or a more elaborate daily special, they consistently serve up delicious flavors, noticeable freshness, and great value. Though a block off the main highway and a bit away from other trucks, their spacious parking lot with tables has great vibes and an inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for an excellent meal in Hana, and want to ensure you won’t be disappointed, Kilo’s is...

My husband and I stopped by here on our honeymoon and were mesmerized by the pulled pork sandos. There are truly no earthly words to describe their deliciousness. We may or may not have extended our visit to eat here a second time during our trip…. The staff is wonderful, service is great, and food out of this world. If you’re trying to decide whether you should stop here, just do it.

We stopped for lunch during our day trip to Hana. The food was great! We got Panko Mahi-mahi, BBQ pork, and Moco Loco, all of which were fantastic. We got there pretty early, so we beat any rush. They have a handful of picnic tables for seating. The service was great, the person working went above and beyond to be able to pronounce my name, which can be tricky. Loved the whole setup!

Highly recommended. Friendly staff and delicious grinds. We ordered the Panko Mahimahi. It was nice and crunchy on the outside (I particularly liked the edges) and the meat in the inside was soft and moist. The tartar sauce was a nice complimentary as well, and the mac salad was action. We also ordered the Spicy Ahi Poke -- soft like butter, excellent quality! 👌🏼
