High expectations coming in (5 Star kind of place), but just a 3 Star kind of place. Starting with hard rice (almost pegao’), my guess is that it was leftover rice from earlier. I bet the “amarillos” are straight from a bag; my main dish was not hot (not cold either). Service itself was good; the waitress was great. Another order on my table was the Serenata, which the chef makes without viandas or potatoes! Desert is from a $5/box at the grocery store, $5/piece. Table for four was $100 with the tip; to me, this is not a $100 dinner night kind of place; not to mention the patrons by the bar and their loud obscene language inside this totally “quiet” place (due to no music at all.
