Primo Burgers — Restaurant in Maywood

I wish I would have taken pictures of the food I got served today, and the last time I was here. I'm a single mother of two, so when my kids ask to go to a specific place to eat, I EXPECT the food to be served toe the way I ORDERED IT! PAYING $17.00 FOR 1 MEAL And the total coming out to $40.00 at a burger joint. FOR 1 JR BURGER COMBO, 1 MEAL CHORIZO CON HUEVO, ND MY CHICKEN STRIP DINNER FOR $17.00. AND FOR MY FOOD TO COME OUT COLD?!!! The last time I was here I asked for EXTRA EXTRA CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS ND EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA CRISPY FRIES?!!!. The chicken strips WERE RAW... PINKKKKKL TO BE EXACT. I DIDNT SEE IT UNTIL I TOOK A BITE ND THE CHICKEN JST WAS NOT FULLY COOKED. HAD TO SPIT OUT UNTO A NAPKIN . THW FRIES WERE SEMI WHITE... NOT FULLY COOKED AS WELL MD NOT CRISPY. TODAY ALMOST THE SAME THING once again. Ordered the SAME thing again!. Chicken was not pink but it was chewy, felt and tasted like it they were taken out the fire a little raw, and with their own heat, the strips finished cooking themselves. IF YOU COOK ON A DAILY, THEN YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. The fries were cold and soggy. THEY SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN SOGGY, UNLESS THEY WERE THROWN BACK IN YHE OIL AGAIN OR RE HEATED. IVE HAD FRESH CRISPY FRIES FROM THIS PLACE... FRESH EXTRA CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS AND OMG I ENJOYED THEIR FOOD!!!!!... BUT THE LAST TWO TIMES I WAS DISAPPOINTED. ESPECIALLY AFTER I CALLED THE OWNER MYSELF AFTER I WAS SERVED THOSE RAW CHICKEN STRIPS ND SEMEI RAW WHITE FRIES. When I was pregnant of my son yrs ago, I craved fries. I went to a place close to me for crispy fries, nd they looked white and not fully cooked. I was 6mlnths pregnant, I just wanted to eat the fries... I ENDED UP IN ER FOR TWO DAYS!.. This is why I am very upset they keep serving food this way!!!! Especially for such a HIGH Price!. And let me tell you something... THIS PLACE DOESNT LIKE TO Substitute ANYTHING. THEY PRETTY MUCH GIVE YOU AN Attitude(YOULL SEE THE CHANGE ON THEIR FACE, SPECIALLY THE OWNERS FACE) WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR MEAL TO YOUR OWN LIKING. DONE W THIS PLACE! NEVER AGAIN! ID RATHER DRIVE TO SOUTH CENTRAL TO MY ORIGINAL TAMS, AND ONLY PAY $28 TOPS AND ALWAYS WELL COOKED!...

So I ordered two large drinks and I was serving myself some soda I decided to get some Manzanita and taste it to see the carbonation I didn't get to the point to taste it cuz it smelled like chlorine I go to the store owner or the boss some old blonde lady and ask her to take a whiff. She said it smelled fine that's how Pepsi supposed to smell like and then I corrected her and she walked away I asked when her workers to smell it and in Spanish she said it smelled like Clorox but right then and there that old lady told her to say smell like Manzanita thinking I wouldn't hear her. She takes my cup away goes to step back and serves me a thicker version of the Manzanita asking me to smell that. I believe she just went to the back and got the syrup to prove her point. Maybe it was too disinfect or to clean the machine I will understand that but for it to smell strongly like Clorox and then tell your workers to...

The burgers are good but the service was extremely bad! I order a family pack of 4 burgers with horchatas. I have order before and the horchatas were always .65 extra. This time around I got charged .95 extra for each drink and a child's drink was .60 extra which was .35 extra before in total of $30. Where did the $30 came from? 14.99 of the pack, 3.59 of a kids meal...plus drinks and taxes in total of $25? Where did the $5 came from?. We asked for our money back and the manager was not happy. I just told her to please let's just end this and give us the money back and she gave back the money and said, "Here! GO!" Needless to say, I will not be going back. If anyone who eats here want an actual really good burger, go to Boys Burger on Florence and Holmes Ave...those burgers are way way way better than this place and they don't charge extra for...
