Boomarang Diner — Restaurant in McAlester

I've been here before with my family a couple years ago, but I have never had such a bad time as today. We weren't greeted at the door and it took a couple minutes before we even got service. Ordered appetizers but they didn't arrive until the meal was ready too. Kind of loses the idea of "appetizer". The food came fast but was cold and not exactly what we ordered, and the waitress didn't seem to care. The drink cups were dirty and greasy so we asked for clean glasses. She brought "to go" cups, per the manager. Friend could eat only one bite of his hamburger because of way too many onions, he ordered it without onions. My burger was "okay" but I couldn't even eat the fries, they were cold. After not being happy with the food ordeal, we decided to pay and leave, and the hostess (I assumed) made things difficult by not understanding that we were just sitting at a table. We could have just walked out without paying. She thought we had takeout and then said "Well this is where you pay", DUH. Both servers were very rude and didn't act happy to even have a job. Never going back to this one. Will probably try a Boomarang elsewhere. But will definitely read reviews on it...

Today was the first time I’ve ever tired this restaurant, I was told that my fries came with my meal and they charged me for them, they also charged me for my drink which is fine but I don’t understand how you can charge me for my drink and not the other person I was having my meal with. I feel like I paid more than I was supposed to. The service was good, the people were nice for the most part, when I was looking over my receipt I was asked “did they over charge you or something?” It sounded a bit rude but I just brushed it off because I could be wrong but it was they way it sounded and how it came off, I just wasn’t in the mood to deal with ugliness, over all I just feel like I was overcharged. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. 2 stars...

We we’re driving home to Texas and looked on google for a good place to stop to eat. We found this diner and saw all the great reviews so we were excited to stop! First impressions are definitely not like the reviews but we tried anyway. The server that “greeted” us was completely rude and didn’t care to be there. My daughters drinks came in greasy nasty cups, the straws were coated in a greasy mess. When we told the server, she said “that’s just how it is” We demanded new cups and drinks and she brought it back in to go cups, per the manager she said. The food was so over cooked it was almost inedible. We’ve been driving for the last 6.5 hours so hunger was an issue. $44 for the “food” we had was disgusting to...
