As I was driving through town, this place caught my attention because I happen to be from the same state back in Mexico, Jalisco! Fierro Pariente! So the curb appeal was lively. As I entered the restaurant boy I was a bit overwhelmed with the darkness of the decor. It wasn’t bad but it almost make you feel like you are entering a tunnel. More about this later. The reception was good. The host was a bit disappointed that it was just me. The gave me the table across the bar.

I darted to the bathroom right away because I really needed too. And again, the same feeling of being in a tunnel follows all the way to the bathrooms. The bathroom was clean. The waitress offered me to order my drink and there were chips and salsa already; the good ones! Drinks arrived quick and I was ready to order food. I ordered something simple; the lunch flautas and a Tamale.

Food came out quickly. The Tamale was smothered in cheese sauce! Yeah buddy! The flautas were a bit disappointing. I know them to be in a corn tortilla and not in flour. I was starting to question wether they are from Jalisco and rather from Monterrey! Hehehehe Oh boy so what can we say? Well, if anybody cares to know, jere is what I recommend.

Decor. I get it, everybody is using black. But black For the heck of using black does not make it fancy or modern. One must treat the color black carefully. I will attach some pictures of some samples on how to use it properly and really make a difference!

Personnel. I noticed that waiters and waitresses stand by the bar area. At time it is crowded and at times there is nobody. It just looks bad to have people just standing.

Food. The food itself was good. It just feels too tex mex. Maybe that is what people like here but it is always presented too simple. The menu also is too complicated. Way too many options way too confusing.

Well I hope you guys get this with the...

The atmosphere is lively, but the seating still manages to feel a little private. I tried a salad/deconstructed- like guacamole, and enjoyed that very much with a little hot sauce and their salsa to accompany it. Speaking of *amazing salsa!!! Yes, I think at least that salsa might be authentic 😮. Yep. Got chicken tacos, I think the chicken might actually be authentic and fresh... maybe not one of those pre packaged places. Very good flavor. It's a surprise to find that nowadays. All in all, fairly quick service, almost everyone is wearing a smile. Family friendly also. Down side? Although the food is better than most of your local Mexican places, they should make themselves stand out by plating and presenting their food differently. It would leave something to remember for everyone. (And a little paint touches for aesthetics). Best...

Usually love their food but lately it seems when I order through take out I’m always missing something and tonight as I’ve been moving and finding out my grandfather could be passing at any moment I ordered food last minute but definitely before they were closed and instead of notifying me or posting some sort of policy that you can’t order food after a certain time because they want to be out of the restaurant at 9pm rather then closing doors and cleaning at 9pm like every other restaurant and fast food place in the world.… they waited for someone to contact them before explaining that they actually don’t stay open till 9pm as advertised. Super dissatisfied and won’t be ordering from them again. I promise that and when I say something I actually...

I'm new to the area and several people recommended this place for the best mexican food. It definitely did not disappoint! I got the chicken verde enchiladas with guacamole and chips on the side. The enchiladas were amazing. It came with lettuce , tomato cheese and sour cream on the side. They didn't come with beans or rice , which i'm used to in texas. But it was really amazing and I got everything for such a good price. I was a big fan of the chips and the guacamole was really good. I will definitely be returning. The customer service was really good from the moment I walked in.

I got the plate of enchiladas and a Chile relleno with cheese sauce. I didn't like how the chille relleno looked, swimming in the white/cheese sauce, but it was a delicious meal! Wow, never had a meal like that before. It's awesome! The place is clean, comfortable, and for people of all ages. Family included! There is a kids meal with good choices for picky eaters. The sauces for the chips were not spicy, they do have spicy sauce on demand though! It is fresh and delicious. The food is priced well too, I'm bookmarking this restaurant and coming back next time I visit Oklahoma!
