Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in McAlester

I knew going in this last Saturday may have longer then normal wait times! We called ahead at 5 pm to see if we could reserve a table for 6 adults and 3 kids. We got our table at 6 as requested. The host sat us down and said our waitress would he over. She came and took our drink order. We sat and waited 45 minutes for drinks to come out and they missed two drinks. One being for my 5 year old granddaughter who asked for chocolate milk. We tell the waitress and she said ok. I'll go get that. 30 minutes pass. Still no drink or milk. Then she comes over and says we are out of milk. So 1 hour and 15 minutes after being seated, my granddaughter had a melt down cause they should have told us that an hour ago! We ordered when they brought our drinks so we figured we would get our food not long after but man I was wrong. 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food and the food wasn't very good. My steak wasn't well done and my asparagus was tough. My two son in laws quesadillas were hard as a rock and my 1 year old grandson had fallen asleep. I know that places are short staffed but 2 hours to get a meal that was sub par is ridiculous! If zero stars was an option, I'd put that! I have never had bad service at any restaurant in Dallas so I thought being a smaller town would be different!...

Update to my previous post! Chili’s sent me an apology for our previous visit there. They included a $20 gift certificate for my next visit. There were five of us and we visited on a Saturday evening at about 5pm. We all ordered a variety of drinks and food. Our server (Lindsay) was GREAT! Our food was served exactly the way we asked as well as our drinks! Lindsay was excellent and was taking care of our every additional request! She was fantastic and so was our meal!!

(Normally we experience great food and service! But this location has gone down the toilet. Our food took forever to receive, my wives food was wrong again and we had to send it back to be corrected. AGAIN! When it came back we just took it home, to find it had uncooked bacon on it!! The server was paying more attention to the drunks around the bar, rather the other customers. These drunk were being rude and obnoxious, with women and children around. The bartender even had to apologize to me for their actions! Perhaps she shouldn’t have over served them! Perhaps they were tipping well, but all customers needed to be treated equally. Even though we had less than expected service, we still tipped 18%. Time to eat somewhere else until things are...

Didn’t even get a chance to review the food, was just wanting to get a side to go. Came in at 10:12 they are closed at 11 pm, I’ve served, hosted, expo so obviously get everyone’s had a long day which is why I was trying my best not to be inconvenient and order mozzarella sticks to go. Went to bar waited about 10 mins, (didn’t mind waiting at all) than walked around to the other side to be seen, the bartender or server who was her knees at the other side of the bar at a table with older men instantly gave me the worst nastiest attitude ever and asked me what I wanted I said I wanted to place a order to go. And told me to go sit somewhere and asked me how many people, rude and with a tone after I just said I don’t want to eat in, just want to place a to go order. I literally just walked back to the To Go door to leave, as shes still talking to me like a dog to go sit down at a booth to get helped cause im walking the other way out the door than where shes directing me. i put my menu back up in the correct spot and walked out that door.
