Mazzio's Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in McAlester

I left one star simply because it's impossible to give zero stars.

For the first time in ages my wife and I decided to eat lunch at Mazzio's today. We sat at the 1st table by the doors on the south side of the building. She was sitting where she could see into the kitchen and witnessed one of the girls (pink hair in a bun) working the prep line blow her nose on a brown proper towel, then go right back to prepping pizzas without washing her hands. This was after she, the shift manager (Loretta), and the young man Manning the register had come back into the building from a break and went right back to prepping pizzas without washing their hands.

When she spoke to the shift manager, Loretta, the only response was, "Oh wow," then, "Give me just a minute". We waited for several minutes inside the restaurant at our table before we finally left. And she never once came back. She completely ignored us, as though we hadn't said a cotton-picking word.

No apologies. No I'm sorry and it won't happen again. Not even an I'm sorry you saw that.

This. Is. Unacceptable.

Update: I went back into the restaurant to give Loretta an opportunity to respond, but was completely blown off. Last time I'll ever set foot...

I stayed at the hotel that was behind it about 2 or 3 months ago. Wanted food so I ordered a pizza 🍕 pickup through an app. When it was ready I went to pick it up and I realized I needed another drink because they wasn't giving me a normal coke or a 2 litter. It was the kind you you use as if you was eating there. I asked the workers (don't remember his name, but he's a white male with brown or blonde hair and he might have been in high-school or in college) and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I asked him again and he said oh you have to pay (1.97 I think) for one. I told him yes I know can I have another drink please. I paid then it took him 5 minutes to give me a cup. Once I got it I had to fill both drinks myself. The pizza 🍕 I ordered was full of grease and not good at all. Frozen pizza is better then the pizza I ordered. It also made me sick the next day when I was on the highway. Never ordering anything...

We have been here before and have been very happy with all until tonight.Ronda the manager is awful asked about the the buffet she said it wouldn't start until 5 she was very rude when we ordered .we sat down waiting for our food it wasn't even a minute later when the buffet started at4.35 and people are going up to the buffet to eat .I asked why those people were getting the buffet at 4.35 she told me they were her regulares . I said we could have been regulars also but she was so rude to us we never do if get our food .I got a refund on my credit card and will never go back as long as there is a Rhonda she didn't even apologize .There food is good but it was very rude and my grandaughter just wanted pizza and about in tears said that women is rude out of the mouth of babes and I've never wrote s bad review...
