Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in McAlester

I am a private pay caregiver & stopped by Mon. 5/2 at 2:49 pm with my 96 yr.old client . We ordered 2 pretzels,1 sm. blue raspberry slush, & 1 med. strawberry limeade,.The service was speedy and carhop was polite. However, our pretzels were doughy. Definitely not cooked all the way through. I called the Main Street McAlester Sonic & stated my concern. First of all he said how did you get pretzels? They told me we were out. I said, "We ordered & received 2 pretzels with our drinks." I have the receipt. He kept saying it couldn't be because they told him they were out of Pretzels. Then I said, " Is your manager there? They said that they were management. Surely if he was the manager he would be aware of what inventory of food they did or did not have. 2ndly the customer is always right! Rule #1 of customer service & public relations. They supposedly wrote my name & ph.# down? I would get 2 free pretzels. After the call ended I thought I should have just asked for a refund. Not sure if the next order of soft pretzels would be cooked thoroughly? Have not cashed on on free pretzels yet. I just wanted to make sure my 96 yr. old client complaints were heard & taken seriously. She had raised 7 children while she worked as an R.N., & took care of her...

Food is almost always great! Service on this night was not so great...Why?...Global Government advocates pushing their Covid-19 B.S. propaganda has more people eating at places like sonic,so drive thru's are very busy,car ports are busy,staff was short and dining rooms closed. It was late Friday evening and they got my order screwed up. We had to wait nearly 15 to 20 minutes before anyone responded to our Car Port button to place an order. Then it was another 15-20 minutes before our food came. I ordered a foot long coney "without chili or cheese, but asked for mustard,mayonnaise and onions. I ordered a large Dr.Pepper with cherry and vanilla added. I received a foot long coney with Ketchup,Mustard and No Onions. And a large cherry limeade. But given their busy,busy,busy time here...I just took what they fixed for me and did not complain. I was not prepared to wait any longer. Better service next time I hope. Food was still good. Server was kind....

We went to the Sonic in Krebs Oklahoma because it is where we live. The chili dogs were so bad I couldn't, believe it. We decided because of the new way of everything we got what Sonic now serves. The chili was spread on the hot dog bun like a thin layer of sauce. The rest of anything on it was so thin that all we had was bun and weinner. This was about a month ago. Being an ex manager of fast food the thought in my mind was it was either lack of training, being lazy, no one actually in charge or if they were they were the wrong person. So we tried the one in McAlester Oklahoma. We were so pleased that the love of one of our favorite foods has not changed. The money and time we spent with not a good meal at Krebs will never leave my mind. If I have to drive to another town to get my food well that will be it. We are retired and now want...
