CafĂ© Conmigo is an absolute gem! It is without a doubt the best coffee shop in Pittsburgh, and I have been to all of them. The moment you walk in, you feel like youâve stepped into an oasis. The space is stunning, filled with lush greenery and an abundance of seating, creating an atmosphere thatâs warm, inviting, and just perfect for relaxing or getting work done.
The coffee and tea here are next-level. They serve Commonplace Coffee, a local favorite, and they nail the classics like Cortados and Cappuccinos, but what truly shines are their seasonal drink specials. These specials are always creative, delicious, and announced on their social media, so youâre never out of the loop. If you have questions, the baristas are more than happy to helpâtheyâre fantastic at guiding you through the menu!
This is a true specialty coffee shop. Unlike your standard Starbucks, CafĂ© Conmigo offers the real deal when it comes to coffee and tea. Their matcha is hands down the best in the Greater Pittsburgh area. If you think you donât like matcha, itâs because you havenât tried it here. I recommend getting it with oat or almond milkâitâs an absolute must!
The staff is incredibleâfriendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to suggest something if youâre unsure of what to order. And letâs not forget the food! They source from local spots like Wildrise, Mediterra Bakery, Alliana's Kitchen, Pure Greens, and more. My personal favorite is the Ham and Cheese croissantâitâs a perfect pairing with their coffee.
Café Conmigo is truly a special place, whether you're a coffee enthusiast or just someone looking for a cozy spot to unwind....

Mostly I really like this place, but I have one major gripe about it. Showed up a full hour before closing to sit down and enjoy a latte and treat â told the worker âfor hereâ and she replied, âwe close in an hour so we only do to go cups from this point onâ. I could have showed up 5 min earlier, got a real mug, and sipped that latte for a whole hour, and not return it until the minute youâre closing. Other people were sitting there with mugs, plates, glasses and they were not collected from them an hour before closing. You can and will continue to get dirty dishes returned within that hour before and all the way to closing minute. Why impose this arbitrary rule? In my experience espresso drinks taste better in a real cup/mug than in a paper cup with plastic lid. Also, if I want to be extremely particular, we order 62minutes not 60minutes before closingâŠ
If ignoring this super annoying rule, here would be my regular review: Commonplace coffee - delicious. Fun, house made syrups if you want an interesting flavor. Great space that is plant filled. Sometimes hard to find seating, can get quite busy. Snacks are tasty but some are a bit pricey. Service is generally good...
Read moreOur experience was extremely off-putting - we were so excited because the decor was adorable, the merchandise was awesome, and the food looked good. We initially ordered to sit in the cafe but something came up right as our drinks were being made, which meant that we had to ask for a to-go cup instead. We knew that this was going to be an inconvenient ask, so when we went up to grab our drinks, we apologized immediately while asking to transfer our drinks from mugs to to-go cups. The barista loudly groaned right in our faces and scoffed as she transferred our drinks. We felt bad as is but this made the whole experience off-putting; we had left a $13 tip given the shopping we had done as well, but felt shortchanged after this interaction. We do not feel comfortable coming back at all â it was deeply embarrassing and we will not be visiting this location again. If youâre going to be annoyed, by all means youâre allowed to - we knew it was going to be inconvenient. At least just wait until weâre not standing right in...
