We went here because the reviews were great but we did not have a 5 star experience. When we arrived we only saw two employees a guy doing all of the cooking and a lady working the front counter, phone, bar, and taking out orders. She was extremely overwhelmed and not friendly at all. I let it go though because she was balancing a lot and understood she was under a lot of pressure. She took our order and I asked for a receipt because the total seemed high. She had a line of people and several people at the bar needing things so I told her to take my time while we got drinks. The dusting and seasoning station was a mess and practically empty. The salad bar had lettuce that was turning brown and looked like it had not been touched in a while so we skipped on adding it to our meal. Neither station was cleaned or refilled during our visit which sucks because my kids love that they can put their own “taste” to their pizza. When I get the receipt she over charged me by $10 and it took her some time to correct because she had to call her manager. She did say sorry for the mix up but the only way she could do the refund was to void the whole order (which leaves a hold on my account) and recharge me. This was annoying but at least she fixed it. A few mins later she very hastily brought out our pizza Most people know not to set hot plates right in front of small children and we had made a spot in front of my husband and myself to help with this. But she still placed it in front of him. The pizza was hot but it was not done in the middle it was a dough mess we couldn’t even get it to cut. The cheese also wasn’t completely melted. I waited about 5 mins while I tried to cut through the mess that was our pizza and pass it out to everyone because we thought it was strange our pizza came out before our breadsticks. I went up to the counter and waited in line for the 3rd time now. I watched and the lady working the counter had one glove off and one on. She would go make breadsticks or cook and come right back and take orders and cash with the same glove on!!! When it was my turn I asked if it was normal for the breadsticks to come out after the pizza. She rolled her eyes and said “you didn’t get your breadsticks” she yelled at the guy in the back to get them and went to take a phone order. The whole time she was taking the order she was getting mad and trying to hurry the person on the phone ordering along. She finally had them so upset they told her Nevermind and she was not upset about it. I continued to wait at the counter for my breadsticks and they guy said sorry for the wait (first sorry I got for the mix up) and I told him The dipping sauces were wrong so he took it back again. She yelled at him again that I needed my breadsticks and I told her I was upset because my messed up pizza was going to be cold too by the time I got back to the table. She did not seem yo care at all and walked away. I finally got the breadstick and the cheese was hot but the breadsticks were ice cold. I gave up they didn’t care and it wasn’t worth it. While we were attempting to eat our food we heard her start yelling at another customer something about a refund. She then got on the phone and continued to talk loudly about how the man wouldn’t leave the counter. The whole thing had my kids upset and nervous. It was overall very unprofessional. After it was all said and done we left hungry and irritated. It was a sad display for such a good pizza place. I do not know what happened with the one customer except he did get a refund and after having uncooked pizza, cold forgotten breadsticks, and the overall rudeness from the staff I would also like a refund and will not be returning...
Read moreI’m updating this review because I recently saw a review someone gave this place about being yelled at and cussed out by the manager after an employee called her.
My family and I were in the store when this situation happened. From what I can remember, two men came in to pick up or order food and wanted to get some beers while they waited. Jailynn, the shift lead at the time, politely told them that they had no server/bartender and therefore they would not be served alcohol. Like children, they started prying at her and complaining about not having anyone to serve alcohol, as well as the kitchen being out of stock of some things they wanted to order. It was like 9, 10 o’clock, and there were only 3-4 people working at the time. Everyone looked young and not old enough to serve alcohol, but I guess the two men didn’t like that. The prying went on for about 10 minutes, and Jailynn even started to cry because the men wouldn’t leave her alone about not being able to get beer. She started crying!! How sad is your life that you have to make a young woman cry about not being able to serve man-children beer??? Eventually Jailynn called the manager due to the older of the two men threatening to trash the store if he wasn’t given beer. The manager was absolutely furious, and I don’t blame her at all. Two “men”, threatening to trash her store and harass its employees just because they were out of ingredients and no one was there to serve beer. How humiliating it was for the two men to be yelled at by the manager because they were acting like absolute children. The manager yelled at them and told them both to leave before a different employee called the cops. As soon as the cops were mentioned, both men pretended like they did nothing wrong and argued that they weren’t acting like complete idiots in a store at 10 o’clock at night. How embarrassing for two “men” to act like absolute children and leave this store a bad review based on their terrible behavior. Some people’s people. This store is amazing, and props to the manager for protecting...
Read moreThe food was amazing, but this was the worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. First of all, my boyfriend and I ordered a couple of tall craft beers. I wanted to know what their rotating Three Floyd's beer was. She said she was new and didn't know. She made no attempt to ask one of the other employees what it was. I ordered something else. Instead of getting the tall beers we received smaller glasses instead. When we told the manager it was the wrong size he said they didn't offer that beer in a tall even though it was on the menu. When I showed him the menu he apologized for the mistake, but didn't correct it. The waitress then didn't check on us at all and we had to ask another waitress for another beer. This time we did receive the correct size, but the new girl checked our IDs for a second time which was a bit odd. I don't think she had been trained properly. She seemed to be under the impression she had to check our IDs every time we ordered a drink. When we received our bill we had been charged for 2 soft drinks even though we only had water aside from the beer. I told our waitress and she replied that the water was considered a soft drink. I had to explain to her that restaurants don't charge for water unless it's a bottled water. She seemed confused, but took it off. The new girl did seem very nice so I wasn't mad at her. I just think she should have been better trained. I would go to a Noble Romans again for the food, but not this...
