Ordered carry out from them twice now.

The first time they left off the onion rings from my burger but I didn’t realize until I got home and I didn’t want to try and get it fixed since they’re about 15 minutes away. No big deal. Mistakes happen. I dealt with it. The food was good.

The second time, the girl taking my order told me it would take 20-25 minutes for our food to be ready. I was surprised it would only take that long because this was a Saturday and I ordered at exactly 5:30. She didn’t read my meals back to me which probably would have saved it. (I think she was new) She also didn’t give me my total. Anyways we got there after about 25 minutes and ended up waiting until about 6:15 (45 minutes since I ordered) to walk out with our food. We inspected it in the car and discovered that one of the meals was incorrect. (Shrimp pasta instead of a Philly)

Thankfully, the lady in charge of the bar/carry out was great and corrected as best as she could. She even refunded us since we were charged for the shrimp pasta and the Philly was cheaper.

We think the girl misheard ā€˜3-cheese’ for ā€˜Philly cheese’ which is understandable. This is why you read orders back to people to make sure mistakes aren’t made as much as possible. Also, it would have been much better if she had told us it would take about 40 minutes or so instead of 20-25.

Unfortunately, by the time we got home our food was fairly cold from waiting on the corrected meal. Also, I discovered that my burger was missing the guacamole :( (I ordered the Tex Mex)

Overall they have very friendly staff, their onion rings are amazing and the rest of their menu looks great too. I’d just love to order a burger that has everything it’s supposed to on it. 🄲

Next time I think I’ll try dining there to see what that experience is like. I’m rooting for them! There’s nothing else quite like them in the area and I like to support small businesses so I’m hoping for better experiences in the future. I’ll...

Huge and one of the best appetizers until 1) found 2 foreign objects in it while chewing that were so hard I about chipped teeth: a round 1/2" possible bone fragment and later a small chard that hurt more than the first. 2) tried to watch a tv sports game while one server stood partially blocking my view for over 10 minutes socializing loudly with a patron who talked louder than the server I expect could be heard across the room and then a second server doing the same after the first server moved away. One other thing the manager came by and asked my fellow diner how the food was and rudely did not look or ask me the same which is a poor service management indication and perhaps gender biss. Our server however was much more appropriate with their service quality and fairness noticeably much younger than the manager. But didn't ask if we wanted dessert just brought the check out which is like telling a story with no ending. But not unusual in most restaurants nowadays. Would I return? Maybe in 2 years like this past cycle because poor service doesn't make the food any more palatable. This was our backup restaurant choice tonight because #1 had a waiting line and this one less than a mile away was not half capacity. Will say the menu variety is broad. The decor is bland and lacks character so not a place to impress a date, the posted photos are an illusion at least for the main dining room. But as far as food volume and flavor ok if you don't have...

This is our first time, we are new to this community from downtown and venturing to find our regular spots as we live around the corner and hoped to come all the time. Server was excellent. However, the food was just okay. Filet mignon was super tough at medium, with no seasoning. Ribs were tender but slathered with sauce that seemed like it came out of a bottle. Not sure they truly understand Celiacs/gluten-free or allergies, so beware if you have health concerns. Would not come back. This is good for people who like Applebees and other suburban chains, not recommended for anyone who eats in big cities with higher food standards. With reviews we thought this would be a hidden gem, and we really love to support local but this isn’t for us - we spent over $100 and could have gotten much better quality downtown. The fried mushrooms were top tier.

Edit in response: I was very clear with the server that he had an allergy and when you brought the ribs, I also said "he has Celiacs." The server even apologized after we told her we had to send it back bc of the large piece of bread on the same plate...

We had the Workd Famous Pork Tenderloin. The sandwich was delicious but the salad was even better. Best places to eat in Indiana. #foodie #foodreview #foodtok #restaurant #fyp

I recently went to The Grill for the first time this week. I took my kids. I had a great experience. This restaurant has a down home, small town feel. This atmosphere is something we all need after the last two years we have all had. The staff was very friendly, especially going in 30 minutes before close the next day. Yes I loved it so much I went in two days in a row. I was hoping to meet the owners and tell them personally. Indiana is tenderloin country and they have one of the best tenderloins I've ever eaten, and I've eaten tenderloins in a ton of restaurants all across Indiana. I hope this place doesn't change because I think it's my new go to. In a world of commercial restaurants and too many choices, choose The Grill for good food, good atmosphere and a staff that, not only helps each other out, but cares about its customers.

Hadn't been in awhile and stopped in for dinner after a busy day. We were sat immediately and reviewed the menu. Lots of choices to pick from. I went with the steak salad. Unfortunately I was not asked what temp I wanted my steak cooked with. The steak lacked flavor and was a bit bland. Not pictured my wife ordered the fajita salad which the chicken was bland. I think with the flavorful dressing they hope that gives it but she cannot have dairy so needed an alternative. The club was huge. The onion rings were a bit soggy. Staff was overall good and you see the owners/managers walking around, unfortunately for us they never came to our table.
