We are from Rhode Island here on a trip and looking for hmong food. We came early and was the only customer. Server was nice and efficient. Here is what we ordered: Eggroll: its good basic eggroll. Better than other plain hmong eggroll i have tried. Moderate flavor and crispy. 7/10 Kapoon: missing the cilantro and green onions. noodles were all broken into smaller pieces. Perhaps noodles were boiled too long. Flavor is okay, not bad but not good. Need more meat and please remove all non edible pieces like the ghalangal. Not pleasant to keep biting into pieces of non edible ghalangal. 3/10 Papaya salad: very good. Flavor is good. I personally like thick cut papaya and this is good. Only thing i would say is to put a notch less tamarind. Its alittle overpowering through the flavor. 8/10 Chicken feet larb: perfect. No changes. 10/10 Chicken wing: its good. Just basic chicken wings. Wish they have an option for larb style chicken wings. 7/10 Pork belly: skin is rubbery, not crunchy. not seasoned. Really relying on the pepper sauce for salt. Need to salt before frying. over cooked as well as meat is dry 2/10 Thai tea: pretty good. No complaints 8/10 Overall score 5/10... not bad but also not good. nothing that makes me go wow. Would return if really craving hmong food but not expecting much more

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Got the Khao Poon, pho, chicken fried rice and pad thai (not pictured) The Khao Poon was good, however the portion was way too small for its price. If they add more, I will reconsider it. The pho was ok and slightly better than some other options in madison. However, it's not the best pho we ever had. Would prefer eating pho elsewhere. Chicken fried rice and pad thai were not good. Definitely would avoid ordering these again. The service could be better and the place wasn't even busy at all! We received no greetings or farewells when entering. Also, we were served by a young kid, I would say probably 8-10 yrs old. I give the kid some props for trying. We definitely had to wave him down several times for refills, orders, and the check.

Hmong sausage with sticky rice is really good and only one of two places, I know of, in Madison to get it. The spicy dipping sauce is a must but extremely spicy to beware. Pad Thai is a little tamarind heavy for my taste but my husband likes it. Chicken wings, crab rangoons, and egg rolls are decent. We usually take it to go and food is still very hot. They have a full bar and have had a drink while waiting for food. Staff is very friendly when ordering over the phone and ordering at the bar. They’ve recently changed their hours and are open less. I hope more people give them a chance and they are able to make it in McFarland. This area could use some variety of cuisine.

My family and I were excited to try this new Pan-Asian restaurant in our community and support a local business. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by the host and offered our choice of tables, as the restaurant was nearly empty (only a few occupied tables and plenty of open seating). Menus and water arrived quickly, but then things took a turn.

We decided on our order quickly but were left waiting, unnoticed, for over 20 minutes. During that time, we watched two staff members at the bar adjust the TVs and saw another server sporadically delivering one dish at a time to a single table. A couple seated behind us received attention right away, but even they hadn’t been served drinks by the time we left.

It was disheartening to feel invisible, especially when the restaurant wasn’t busy. When we finally decided to leave, we put on our jackets and walked out—only then did the host glance our way, but no effort was made to acknowledge us.

We love Pan-Asian food and genuinely hope this restaurant can improve its service. We understand it’s new, but this level of disorganization and inattentiveness won’t win...
