Buckhorn is amazing the food is phenomenal, the owners and servers are the nicest, friendliest people. I love Shirley. The food outstanding and such a large selection. I had fried green beans, cheese curds and a pork Quesadilla's that were so delicious and the portions are large. I've also had the hamburgers and they are super good, the Bloody Mary's are really good, I've had the deep fried green beans every time I've been there, a real favorite. The ruebean sandwich is so good too. All the food is hot and fresh there's never any of the icky oil you get other places all is just delicious and service outstanding. I go once a month, they have specials daily. I try to try the things that are different not the same old thing so I'm just starting that... 5...

Our first couple visits to this area to eat were far from impressive. The Buckhorn exceeded expectations in every way. We walked in and were greeted by the manager, seated and offered beverages and a menu. He told us about the specials then said a server would be with us shortly. The server came, offered appetizers, took our order, and left. My wife got soup with her order, and it was in front of her within a minute or so. Hot, and excellent. Our meals were prepared and presented hot and attractive. Our beverages refilled, and a satisfaction check by not only the server, but the manager too. YUM! My blue cheese, mushroom burger was great! A 'hold on with both hands' third pound, handmade burger. I substituted onion rings and half my platter was filled with them. They were good! My husband ordered the beef nachos special and it came on a platter, and piled high. He said it was good. We were the only one's there at 3 pm, between the lunch and dinner meals.
