My 73 year old mother and I wanted to bring lunch to my son for his birthday. We went to the drive thru and the woman taking our order was very rude and acted exasperated with us as we ordered. She kept talking to someone else in the store, and I couldn't tell if she was talking to me or them. I was really surprised at her attitude toward us even over the drive thru speaker. When we got to the window, a teenage boy with curly light brown hair wearing a red shirt took our money. I said to my mother, "I wonder who it was that took our order". I said this to my mom only, and the drive thru window was closed all but a crack. The boy opened the drive thru window, aggressively crossed his arms and leaned out toward our car and said, "What did you say?" I told him I was talking to my mother. He said, "But what are you talking about?" I repeated that I was talking to my mother. At this point a tall dark haired woman with a red shirt (I think) and heavy eye makeup came to the window and glared at us while asking us in a very sarcastic tone if we wanted ketchup or fry sauce. Her glare was really shocking and we felt like she was daring us to say something (we could tell by her voice that she was the one who took our order). I said, "Yes, I will take some fry sauce, thank you." She passed by the prepacked fry sauces that were on the counter and went to the back to 'make' us some fry sauce. I immediately decided to cancel my order as I didn't know what she planned to do to the sauce, or our burgers. These workers seemed to be carrying a grudge even before we even ordered, it was really unsettling and scary. When the teen boy came back to the window, I told him we would like to cancel our order. Another woman, short and slightly overweight, with dark hair wearing a black apron or shirt, came to the window this time and said, "Is there a problem?" I just said, "I would like to cancel my order and get my money back." She asked why, but felt like she was baiting me, so I just repeated myself with no explanation, as they were aggressive, and I just wanted my money and to get out of there. She then told me we didn't have to be so rude (!?) and I told her they were the ones being rude. They all acted like they had a chip on their shoulder and were looking for a fight. I am 50, and my mom is 73...we just wanted to surprise my son with lunch for his birthday. We were certainly not looking for a fight. These people were extremely aggressive, and honestly, I felt like it could have turned physical. I felt threatened and I will NEVER go to this...
Read morefirst time eating at a Freddy's. Arrived at Freddy's around 7:15 on a Saturday night. Not very busy. Walked in and the dining area looked like there had been food fight. Spilled milk on the floor, french fries and ketchup packets on the floor. Floors were very sticky and had to be careful where we walked to get to the counter to order. The worker at the register did a good job taking our order. My husband had to get a rag off the counter to wipe down a booth for us to eat at. I filled up my glass with a diet Dr pepper and sat down. When I took a taste there was little to no flavor and no carbonation. Had my son and husband taste and they agreed. Took it up to the counter and had one of the workers fill it from the drive-thru fountain. It did have more flavor and more carbonation, just not sure exactly what the flavor was. My husband and son both got concretes. They said they tasted good. A regular cost $6.19 which was the size of a small water glass. Overpriced for what you got. The food was ready in a timely fashion. My son's burger was very dry. My husband's chicken sandwich was okay. I ordered a patty melt and because I hadn't eaten all day I would call it okay. Shoe string french fries or nothing special. Son ordered the cheese curds - very disappointed. We are from the Midwest where cheese curds are served hot, crispy on the outside, when you bite into them the melted cheese stretches along with the bite. These cheese curds were not crispy and the cheese was not overly warm on the inside. Lacked flavor. On the plus side the music playlist was very good. To sum it up, not a great eating experience. Would probably go to any other fast food place for a burger before here....
Read moreBeen going to the McKinney, TX Stacy location for a while now. I can confidently say there are big problems at this location. Very inconsistent food portions and salt ratios. Staff is apathetic. Was excited to have a Friday night dinner with my wife and it got totally ruined. I ordered a large fry and received a regular (this has happened two other occasions). My wife went to the counter to get the fry corrected (I was in the bathroom at the time). Upon returning to our table, I noticed I received a single, but ordered a double. I went back to the counter, and the staff ignored my existence until I said something. The staff offered to take my tray back to the kitchen, but I told them that if I didn’t eat my fries now, they’ll get cold. So I returned to our table while they made a fresh double. My wife and I couldn’t even eat together. Upon receiving the double, it was overly salty. I was concerned for my blood pressure, and wondered if the staff over salted on purpose. I ended up eating the erroneous single (that got cold while waiting for the double) because there was just way too much salt. Note: we ordered our fries and burgers with less salt. Hope Freddy’s can make this right, because we’ve been loyal for a long time. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK IN THIS PLACE MY HUSBAND GOT FOOD POISONED!!!! AND I AM PREGNANT !!! MANAGEMENT FIX THIS MISTAKE AND TALK TO YOUR CREW WHO IS WORKING IN THE KITCHEN YESTERDAY 4/11/25 at 6:20pm!!!!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HUSBAND, WE JUST WANT TO ENJOY OUR DINNER!!!!
