**Rating coffee shops in my area. If I address price, that includes a 15-20% tip
This is a great little shop that can be easy to miss! They have wonderful cold brew, and I really like that they have an XL drink option. All of the baristas I have ordered with have been very patient and nice. Some of them write little sayings on the cups which is very sweet. The tips are worth it here. Parking is fine. It shares a space with some stores, but they are very niche businesses, so you won't be competing for a spot. The price is fine. The atmosphere is fine. It's best for talking and meeting one-on-one with people. If you study or want to read, I'd bring headphones. I think the way the space is set up makes it seem louder than it actually is. You'll see a diverse group of people here too. They also have a table you can reserve for meetings and whatnot, very practical. They also have paintings for sale by an independent (local?) artist, but they are extremely expensive. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. It has something for hardcore coffee enthusiasts and just casual drinkers. The only negative thing I can really think of is that one of their front doors doesn't work, so it may not be accessible to people in wheelchairs depending. However, I didn't witness that happen, so I won't include it in my...
Read moreThe staff at Sweetwaters set a high watermark for excellence in customer service. They are always politely pleasant and willing to ensure that each customer is treated well! The selection of hot and cold beverages as well as the range of their food and treats are sure to find favor with your tastebuds.
The cafe is filled with natural light because of the walls of windows. There are high and low tables. There is a large community table as well as a very relaxed casual seating area. There are easily accessible electrical outlets for laptops and tablets AND there is also an abundance of USB outlets for your phone!
Prior to the COVID crisis they kept the cafe immaculate. One of my strongest recommends for Sweetwaters is that even after being there for several hours of meetings when I left I did not have the smell of coffee on my clothes, hair, or personal belongings.
Ash, the owner, is a humble and hard working man. His care for his staff is evident in their level of camaraderie. He leads by example and encourages each to pursue their own path of...
Read moreFarewell Starbucks! ✌🏽
Because I usually have my kids with me, in car seats, I opt for a Starbucks drive-through when looking for coffee. After tasting Sweet Waters Coffee I knew I didn’t want to spend my money on Starbucks anymore!!
Luckily Sweet Waters has an app. If you select “free curbside pickup“, and add it to your online basket they will bring it out to you as soon as you pull up. It’s actually quicker than the drive-through!
Every drink I’ve had from here has been exceptional. The coffee that they use is deliciously creamy and smooth. I’ve had a few friends try them out and they said this was the first coffee that didn’t hurt their stomach.
On top of a really great product, this might be one of the best staff I have experienced! All of them are so kind and really go out of their way to make your experience great.
I would also like to mention that I have tried another Sweetwater location in North DFW and it wasn’t nearly the same experience (product or staff). 😬
Congrats to this manager, he or she has hired the...
