Just left out with a test run; 1 gyro wrap, 1 grilled chicken wrap. Both heavy on the standard load out. Chef’s👩‍🍳 kiss. 😘 The beautiful young lady assured me I would enjoy their offerings and she was not wrong. 🙌🏼 The chicken gyro is not from a loaf. Rather, it is from chopped chicken thighs. That’s dark meat. That’s full flavor! It pairs well with the Syrian spices they are marinating the chicken in. Exotically delicious. The Gyro 🥙 was a laden with shaved offerings of the spitted loaf. Generous amounts of tzatziki and veggies. Grilled onions are definite plus. Both came in soft pita wrap that was tasty on its own. All items came together into what I would call the most realistic gyro option in McKinney. You don’t have to drive down to Richardson and you don’t have to shell out a bunch of dough. Gyros/kebabs are street food. You need them quick and fast. It’s not fancy and it shouldn’t be over thought. Stop-N-Go Gyros just opened, and they’ve already nailed it! If you’re into Greek and Mediterranean food, you’ve got to give this place a shot. Their gyros are amazing—packed with juicy, flavorful meat, fresh veggies, and the perfect amount of creamy, tangy tzatziki sauce. You can tell everything is super fresh and made with care.

The menu has a ton of great options, too, whether you’re craving a classic gyro, a hearty platter, or even just some really good hummus and pita. The portions are generous, and the prices are totally reasonable, especially for how much you get.

The vibe here is super welcoming. The staff is friendly and makes sure you’re taken care of, whether you’re grabbing something quick to go or sitting down to enjoy your meal. For a new spot, they’ve got everything running smoothly.

Honestly, Stop-N-Go Gyros feels like it’s already a neighborhood favorite. I’m definitely coming back to try more of the menu—and probably getting another gyro while I’m at it....

Im no officianatto when it comes to Mediterranean Authenticy nor am I experienced enough to say that a certain type of food our of my culture is out of mine, but I can taste the authenticy in my food here. The flavors arent too flavorful but just right I ordered gyro but meant to get chicken, didnt even call to correct my mistake because even that was good, and I dont even eat lamb usually. Lol. The sauces were great. The hummus, the hummus that is that one cherry that makes you come back for more if the rest wasnt quite there.
