Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in McMinnville

We have been coming to Dairy Queen for years! It is my daughter favorite treat when we eat out. So on 10/9/21 we went for lunch through the drive thru. I ordered a chicken basket meal which included ice-cream and drink. then a chocolate dilly bar. I asked for bbq sauce with my chicken. I go around to pay at the window and noticed my bill is higher than normal. Annabelle the cashier charged me for bbq sauce for the chicken strips I ordered. I asked her when did they start charging for sauce she shrugged her shoulders and walked away from me without helping me. So I drove off noticed I was not given a spoon for the blizzard or my drink that came with the meal but for sure charged 50 cents for the bbq sauce. So I call to speak with the manager and she asked me to come back and again I come back and Annabelle verbally arguing with me stating I asked for 3 sauces and I never did so completely LYING. All I said " I need bbq sauce for my chicken strips" like wow and I was like btw you forgot my drink again she stormed off yelling and acting crazy and talking about me the customer to her coworkers. I have never experience such ugly acting comments from any business. We are DONE with Dairy Queen. sad part is she acted like this in front of my 5 year old how embarrassing and not a role model for children why would you want to bring you kid into this kind of...

I ordered a blizzard cake online from mcminnville dq. It was supposed to be elegant scroll in design. I called after ordering the cake just to make sure they got the order and didn't have questions. When the young girl answered the phone and repeated my name aloud, there was laughter amongst the employees loud enough for me to hear. Granted my name has been found humorous before but this was very unprofessional and immature. Then when I go to pick up this elegant scroll designed cake it was plain chocolate icing on top with purple sloppy writing and had what appeared to be a finger through the only outline design of any kind. Guess someone wanted a taste. I will never order online for mcminnville again. Took them a long time to get it to me too for a cake that was ready...they need some grown ups to take charge and oversee this...

I used to enjoy getting an ice cream and cup of coffee, now they always tell me "We don't have coffee made now." And SEEM to get a bit annoyed that God forbid might ask them to make some 😕. When a customer wants coffee, you should offer to make some! It's not just here I'm complaining about, friendly service has gone downhill most every where these days.

Food was otherwise good, but we need BETTER Customer Service please. Sorry but I'm from the days of you walk in and the person at the register is like "Hi! WELCOME TO DAIRY QUEEN!" With a pleasant look, 'please's' 'thank you's' exchanged and all that. I wish we could bring that sort of thing back now...
