Repy to feedback from Huddle House(10-2-23). thank you but the next time I'm in the mood for an omelet there is a Waffle House within eye sight of this Huddle House. i'm NOT from McMinnville,, don't live there. maybe lousy service and terrible food is the norm there,,, who knows? but the bad service along with the terrible food would NOT be the reason i won't return. it was more of the MANAGER'S attitude,, she could care less about the customer or their needs. that person should not be in the public service industry at all. I took 1 bite of the hash browns, and 1 bite of that God awful omelet. I should not have been charged for it. at the very least. what you see in the pictures is what I left on the table when i left. NO SIR, this is definitely on the do NOT recommend list. went to the Huddle House in McMinnville this evening for dinner.. HORIBLE,,, if I could less than 1 star I would. I had the meat lovers omelet with toast and hash browns. my girl friend had Southern Style benedict with hash browns. and we tried the fried pickles. both had tea,, mine sweet, hers unsweet.$35 and change. her meal should have had bacon included,, she did NOT get bacon. the benedict should have had a sauce on it... it did NOT. when we mentioned the bacon and the sauce, the server walked away. my meal was the MEAT lovers omelet. bacon, ham, onions, tomatoes, and cheese. it came with green peppers and no tomatoes. the cheese was 2 slices of cheese stuck on the omelet and then they folded the omelet. did not fully melt the cheese slices. the omelet was spongy and rubbery at the same time. I took one bite and all I could taste was green peppers. the server came over and asked if everything was alright,, I told him 'NO'.. he walked away. when he brought the check and I asked if there was a manager working.. he went and brought her out. I explained that the food that was brought to me was NOT what I had ordered. she said all she could do is take $7 off the ticket.( she ended up taking $8 off). she acted like she didn't give 2 rat's tails about any of it. she didn't care that I could not eat what they brought. she didn't care that my girl friend didn't get all of her meal. she didn't care that I was brought the wrong omelet. the manager did say she would have given me a COUPON for the meat lover's omelet but she didn't have any... WHY WOULD I WANT to get the same thing they messed up the first time? the pictures you see is what I left.. I couldn't eat that garbage. even the hash brown were NASTY. I still ended up paying $27.60 for the meal I couldn't eat. this Huddle House needs a completely NEW staff from the manager DOWN. there is a Pizza Hut right next door and an Arby's about 100 yards away,, next time I'll go to one of those places for food and...
Read moreI really don't know where to start so I will just jump in and make My statement. About a year ago while working 3rd shift I had been frequently going to the new Huddle house for takeout breakfast and living here in Tennessee poor service is pretty much expected so I ignored the first few incidents all while being patient & cordial. When it gets to the point of being ignored & patrons who arrived after Me being helped while I'm just awkwardly standing there embarrassed & getting the usual sour look & poor service all because I convey & reflect a darker perspective than the local hive mind and I don't look like every other customer. Dont take My word for it, go there, make a conscious effort to express individualism or look in any way different and see how poorly You get treated. I should not have to call the management, in tears, and ask why I was continuously treated so poorly, several mornings in a row when all I wanted was a hot breakfast because I was hungry. I will not buy anything locally because of how poorly local businesses treat anybody who is in any way different. I would rather eat from the garbage than to ever go to this Huddle house location. I have never been so embarrassed & humiliated in all My life. I will continue to raise awareness & communicate the risk of doing business at this location. It should be abstract and professional cordial service to all in compliance or it should be made a private establishment for the accepted. It's a shame that businesses like this still exist 25 years into the...
Read moreSince we tried Waffle House, SO said we had to try Huddle House as well! Overall impression is that it's more similar to a Denny's in terms of huge menu.
Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - ordered a 2 Eggs & Country Fried Steak, a Southern Style Benedict, and the free Waffle. The portions were quite generous and the butter inside the bread was quite a bit as well. The benedict was a bit disappointing as the hollandaise sauce was quite thick and didn't flow over the other ingredients well. The side of fruit was extremely sad with semi-dried mandarin orange pieces and apple slices that were turning brown. The waffles are a lot more crispy but definitely needed syrup and butter to help it along. Their syrup was a lot more sugar based rather than the richer molasses taste.
Service: 4/5 - very friendly server but she was wasn't quite sure what came with our dish and surprised when we requested the Free Waffle Deal that was posted on their window.
Ambiance: 5/5 - surprised at the number of tables in this small shop. Overall feels clean though!
Value for price: 4/5 - food quality is dependent on what you get. Okay overall but would go to waffle...
