Foutch Restaurant — Restaurant in McMinnville

I really do like the food here at this restaurant and I normally refer people to go here. I usually get my order to go but this time since I had a few minutes to spare in-between jobs I decided to dine in and get the plate lunch, it's already made and supposed to be fast. I came in, had a seat and the host said someone would be right with me well I sat there waiting for at least 5/6 minutes nobody took my order so I went to the hostess ,with her knowing and seeing no one had waited on me. I said I'm kind of in a hurry cause I have to get to my other job. She told 1 of the waitress to take my order. This waitress that did not give me her name was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I told the owner she was being rude and I would not be leaving her a tip. She yelled out across the room I don't need your tip or your money. I never got loud but I did make sure she heard about the tip, he did nothing. She had a bad additude and was giving me looks that was very uncomfortable and threatening and I told the hostess I felt uncomfortable and also threatened by this girl with the looks she was giving and still nothing was said to her or done anything about this. I'm very upset with this whole situation and think they should have at least made the girl apologize and turn her additude around. I will not suggest anyone else to go there again. It will take me a while to give this place another try because the food is really good I will miss it. But I will not be where I feel threatened and...

Our group was headed to Cumberland Biscuit Company and they were closed. Did a quick Google search for top McMinnville restaurants and found Foutch Restaurant. Thanks Google! We all got the special, which was Salisbury Steak, with 3 vegetables and choice of cornbread or roll. Oh...my...goodness. I was taken back in time to my wife's "Granny Motley's" table on Short Mountain. The steak/gravy was delicious and juicy. The vegetables are absolutely amazing, the best I have has the pleasure of sampling in at least a 75 mile radius. I am a cornbread junkie and it was perfect; done, but not hard with a nice crust on the pan side. The pinto beans were very tasty and not watery. The green peas were also seasoned perfectly and also a soup that was not watery. The mashed potatoes were very good but I could use a little more butter taste. The service was EXCELLENT. Thank you all. We we will be back soon to check out those incredible looking burgers we saw...

Although decor is dated, the food is awesome. If your looking for country cooking, you found it. I have had the gator burger which is mouthwatering, the fried dill pickle spears, waffle fries, regular fries, and it was all awesome. The last time I went, our waitress was not the best. She was pushing around some kind of cart, and was looking at her phone. When I finally got her attention that I needed a box, she went behind me, to a podium then stuck it in between me and my moms face while we was talking, instead of taking a couple of steps to the end of the table so we saw her.
