I knew the Mother Anna's on Hanover Street in the North End, and loved it back then (and frequented there when I lived out there). But, now I'm living in Taunton and with no real, authentic Italian food really anywhere.. I was thrilled to hear a Mother Anna's was coming 30 minutes away from me! Now that I've eaten there, at the Medfield Mother Anna's, YUUUM; I dare even say that it's even better than the one in the North End!
The staff is super friendly and knows their menu.. and the food is just incredible. Talk about real, Italian food! It's honestly going to become somewhere I start going more often; I just went yesterday and am already dying for more! Everyone needs to try this out, get to enjoy some great Italian food again.
Their gnocchis are amazing, by the way! They had a special this week that I'm kicking myself for not ordering but, lucky for me, someone at my table got it and it was amazing. But my gnocchis were delicious, tortellini Alfredo was delicious, everything. Just take yourself or someone you love out and go try it,...
Read moreMy family and I decided to eat here for my brother’s birthday. We had been given a recommendation to try this establishment and are beyond happy that we did. She brought our apps out with the perfect amount of time in between them and our entrees and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The food was fantastic but the service really made the dinner worth while. McKenna was a tremendous waitress to have for our evening. I will be recommending this restaurant to friends and family. Thanks...
Read moreHuge fan of Mother Anna’s in the North End and was so excited it was coming to town. I prefer takeout after a long day of work. Got my “go to” baked ziti and we got an order of lasagna and some meatballs. Both were good. A couple things to work on. The baked ziti downtown was always like bubbly and all melted almost browned on top, mine tonight I had to cook, it was basically pasta and cold cheeses that needed to still be cooked. Their sauce is always great 👌🏽 Also, if I am paying $55 for two takeout dinners it should come with the bread you would give to a table. Maybe they don’t give bread anymore? There’s some competition in the area for Italian and hopefully they can keep up the good work and...
