Whole Hog Cafe — Restaurant in Medford Township

Hi, my name is Steve, I just want to send a shout out to the whole hog Bbq medford. Yesterday we had my daughter’s birthday in which she requested barbecue. From start to finish, the process of ordering was painless. The ladies that handled the phone order were very polite and helpful. When I called back to change the order and add a few items they were more than accommodating to my request. The food was spot on. It was ready when we showed up. It was hot. It was delicious. Everyone at the party raved about it. I Highly recommend this barbecue joint, and will definitely be going back. So thanks again to all those who worked really hard on our order, I know first hand the hours that go into smoking these meats so again, thanks so much, y’all did...

Whole Hog...you can do better. I have eaten here many times but the last couple have been just okay but last night was not close to your standards. My daughter and I came in close to closing 7:40 and decided to order takeout. We ordered a sliced brisket sandwich and wings. When we got home we opened the sandwich and there was 2 small pieces of brisket that was not sliced it was (best I can explain) a tube , skinny hot dog or about .375 x .375 by 4 inches layer across the bun. The wings were dry and did not have a sauce that we requested. I will say my daughter enjoyed her mac and cheese. Great atmosphere and friendly service, but then things go down hill fast. My wife and I were trying Whole Hog Cafe for the first time for lunch. I got a very unsweet Sweet Tea, probably the whose sweet tea I’ve ever had. As for the food, the vinegar based coleslaw was over peppered and lacked any flavor. The corn bread was dry and crumbly with some flavor but just not very good. The pulled pork was dry, cold and lacked flavor, the brisket was like eating a piece of dry, cold London broil and the sausage was a little dry, a little tough and cold also.
