La Bella Pizza is a small Italian restaurant on the corner of a strip mall in Medford, NJ. There is indoor seating and a cozy, outdoor patio area with very comfortable seating. The staff is high energy and very friendly. The slices are enormous and there are several options to choose from. I decided to go with the classic Margherita slice. Another interesting thing about this pizzeria is their unique bottled soda. They offer Grape, Birch Beer and Root Beer (and possibly more, but I have forgotten any others). I went with the Birch Beer which was very pleasant. The Birch Beer wasn't overly fizzy and not as spicy as I'm used to. It was a mild flavor but paired nicely with the pizza slice. The slice had a thin crust on the bottom and the sauce was layered on top of the cheese. The sauce was much spicier than other pizza's I've enjoyed, but this is likely, in part, due to the excessive sprinkling of oregano leaves. They got stuck in my teeth a little bit, but didn't take much away from the overall experience, as they added a nice spicy flavor profile to the pizza. The crust at the end was crispy on the outside but also fluffy on the inside. The owner surprised me by throwing in a few garlic knots which were also quite good. They weren't hot, but they did have a nice balance of garlic to butter. It was very kind of him to give me the hook-up and it made my experience much happier and made me feel special. Overall the pizza was pretty good and I would gladly stop by again if I were ever in the area.

Today was my 4th time ordering from this place. Everytime I give them the benefit of the doubt that it will be good. Nope. Highly disappointed every single time. I can handle the high prices if the food was worth it. I ordered the grandmas pie every time because I do like the sauce. A little sauce, not a the enormous amount they use. This time I asked for extra cheese because they never put much cheese on it. Barely any cheese, again. The pizza is ALWAYS soggy and undercooked. Between the sauce and sogginess everything just slide off of the dough. Ibsay dough because it's so undercooked it's not even crust. I've had to put it in my oven every time. This is the I will order from there. Listen to the reviewed on the soggy pizza because they are legit.

Not fancy but flavorful! I've been visiting here for years getting the super large pizza slices and garlic knots but today i tried one of the lunch specials (11-3pm) Chicken cheesesteak with side salad ($5.50 + 2 salad) Not only was the roll soft, cheesesteak seasoned just right, but the salad was nicely put together with tomatoes, cukes, olives, onions, grated carrots. With everyone making excuses to raise prices the last 3 years, La Bella actually provided an affordable, delicious option. thank you!

La Bella Ristorante Italiano: Yes, there is a Mason-Dixon line in NJ (Route 195) If your from the North, it's Taylor Ham and the Devils! and if you're from the South it's Pork Roll and the Flyers. We have learned when traveling outside of the North (Yes, it's a place...) to set your expectations when venturing to an Italian restaurant (Especially when ordering pizza...) We are from three generations of Italian restaurant owners so, I feel very qualified to review this establishment. We dined in the back room for lunch where they utilized every square inch. It wasn't uncomfortable, it's just small - This is not a big deal just understand that they do the best with what they have. There is outside seating but the weather did not allow for dining al fresco on this day. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. She artfully managed the entire room without incident. The food rivaled anything that you would get up north (Again, yes it's a place...). We were pleasantly surprised!- Keep in mind we typically set the bar down a couple of notches when venturing out for Italian food. We ordered the Sicilian Pizza Veggie that was baked to perfection. The dough was just right - not too doughy or brick-like!, the vegetables were crisp- not overcooked or soggy and the sauce was not that nasty sweet Ragu that you would find elsewhere. You can tell that allot of love went into making this Pie! Great dining experience. People have complained about the delivery service.... Get off your butt and pick up your food next time. Don't beat up the restaurant because the 17 year old delivery kid couldn't find your house. Give better directions...! I would say these guys got it right! When in the area, we...

This is my second time eating from La Bella Pizza and yet again, it did not disappoint! I ordered the Italian wedding soup and my goodness…it’s the best around! Everything is perfect. They even put fresh mozzarella at the bottom, which is to die for! We also ordered the chicken Marsala and it’s so refreshing to have a Marsala that isn’t creamy! It’s not supposed to be, and this place gets it šŸ˜‰!! The chicken is cooked just right, and the pasta is always Al dente. My brother ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, and they actually cut the broccoli into small pieces so you’re not eating a giant tree in the middle of your meal! So delicious, and the sauce was just right. Also, the bread that’s included with the meal is delicious! Tastes great the next morning cut in half, and toasted with butter. So far both times we have ordered, everything has been HOT and fresh. I’m so excited to have finally found a spot that serves authentic Italian food, and cannot wait to...
