I’ve been to Jasper a few times and usually it’s amazing. I raved about it to my kid so he had to try it when he came here. And it was disappointing to say the least. I paid $75 to have to wait an additional 45 minutes after my order should have been ready listened to the waitress complain about another customer who was not happy with his service only to get home and realize that an item that I had ordered was not in the bag And our greasy burgers Had miniature toppings. My son got the doc holiday Only to get home and the onion ring on top was about the size of a 50 Cent piece. We had to share the one large french fry because they didn’t include the other in my order that I paid for. When getting at Jasper’s after placing the order online. The waitress tried to convince me that I couldn’t order online and didn’t know where my order was. That was after I was ignored for about 10 minutes while she finished up her conversation on the phone and then Continued to complain about said customer in front of other patrons. Very unprofessional and I should’ve known then that I wasn’t going to get good service or that the food was not going to be up to par after waiting around. She finally addressed me again when I showed her the confirmation and receipt on my phone for the order that I placed. Somehow, my order didn’t get printed or prepared and got put behind another order as what she said. She asked me to wait another 15 minutes did not offer me a drink. She did not offer me a discount. I’ve now waited 45 minutes for my food at least. It’s after Closing and she’s trying to close the restaurant around me. My food becomes available and sits on the counter for about five minutes. I am heated at this point when I get home I realize The other nine dollar french fry was not included.
I don’t know what is going on there, but it seems like it’s going downhill. Maybe you need some new wait staff. Because the girl with the nose piercing is not customer service oriented, and is very unprofessional. I would never complain about a customer in front of other customers. And their mistake made me have to wait even longer for my food. She could’ve at least offered me something while I waited or because of the inconvenience that they caused me… Very disappointed for the first time I introduced my kid to Jasper’s. That is his impression of this restaurant now and...
Read moreOk so where do I start??? I’ve been reading the reviews and I must say I know for a fact the meat is not freshly delivered 5 times a week that don’t make since why would you buy meat for the day when you can buy in bulk it’s more like one time a week sometimes every two weeks and that’s facts every Wednesday to be exact and that don’t mean your eating fresh meat on Wednesday your still getting the meat from last week. The buffalo and elk are bout weekly but (kangaroo, boar, natural grass) are all bout once sometimes twice a month and frozen till they run out of it on the line. And don’t let me get started on the prices they have gone up 4 times in a 1 years span but the portions of the food is getting smaller and smaller.. but don’t feel bad the servers and cooks can’t even get a free meal that’s how greedy this restaurant is even after a 8 hour shift.. the prices are outrageous 15$ for a burger, 6$ for fries and 3$ for a drink it’s not a fine dining restaurant it’s a place you should be able to go and get good quality food for a affordable price but that’s far from it!! The last comment about the “yellow jacket” they don’t even sell that one anymore it’s been off the menu for about 2 years know! I dare you to try and ask one of the cooks to make you one of those burgers!! the (Local Owner) owns more then just this restaurant and can care less about his employees picking and choosing his favorites just like his GMs paying all his employees the bare minimum but expecting 5 star ratings from all employees that are over worked and under paid and wonder why there so mad all time!!! Don’t get me wrong there is some good employees there but jasper’s don’t deserve them!!! I’m sure they lost a lot of good cooks and servers do to poor management. I feel like the GM should stop replying to every single review and focus on being a good leader to his crew to better the business for a more professional environment in the work place! If I can give this restaurant 0 stars I would thank you for taking the time to read this and hope it helps to see jaspers the way is, not how it looks from...
Read moreAn EXTRA GREASY burger on a mediocre bun with wilted lettuce and rotten avocado, for $15. And the spices in the southwest sauce were a bit excessive like they spilled a little too much in, but let it slide.
I called to put in an order 50 minutes before closing and was placed on hold for about 10 minutes, and then was rudely spoken to when I asked for no onions on the burger, because she had missed my specific request for the Curly Bill. Unaware of her own absentmindedness, she assumed I hadn’t yet informed her of which burger I wanted. Her approach to clarify was to speak to me in a condescending tone. This was a big red flag and I should’ve canceled the order right away.
Then when I asked for a milkshake I was immediately shut down. Mind you this was still 40 minutes until closing but I was told that I was unable to order a milkshake because they were closing soon.
Apparently the employees are more eager to serve themselves an early night home than they are to serve the customers what’s on the menu.
This was red flag number two. But I was hungry so I went through with it. When I arrived to pick up the order and after she swiped my payment, she handed me a pen leaking blue ink which got all over my hands and wallet.
She showed me her hands which were fully covered in spilled ink and it was as if by my bringing attention to the leaky pen was an epiphany for her that, aha! It’s the pen that been causing my hand to turn blue. Otherwise had she known, she wouldn’t have passed it on to others right?
Not even in the same league as the best burger around. I won’t mention who does make the best because these guys don’t even deserve to be in the business.
If you’re mediocre, fine, but don’t tout that you’re great, and if you’re content serving sub-lar food, then atleast set your prices to reflect the meager offering.
Seriously, go find your calling....
