Editing two months later: this location has gone even further downhill. My husband, me and my two year old come here consistently about 1-2 times per week. We’ve ceased use of Chipotlane and have complained about orders being messed up every single time to the app, filed complaints and even let them know in person and they don’t care. Going back through my app, I’ve spent over $50 in extras or food that I haven’t ever gotten with no refund or remedy. As of the edit of this in Aug 2025, it seems they’ve got the slowest, rudest and most confused employees they could get. There’s only a couple of familiar friendly faces we’ve seen over the last couple years that are left. There’s obvious tension in their team and you can feel it oozing into the work they’re doing and it makes the entire experience extremely uncomfortable to watch. We watched a new employee be glared at, eyes rolled at and get bowls taken directly out of his hands by a girl working the line with him. We have decided not to return to this location as much as we love the food and used to love the experience.
You ever pull up to the Chipotlane window and know just by the person working that your bowl is gonna be the tiniest portion ever and it’s gonna be missing stuff? Me too. This location is consistently terrible at reading extra meat or rice or remembering utensils or side items. I have literally driven back home 35 miles and was given a tortilla instead of a quesadilla. It’s so bad, the chat won’t let me...
Read moreJust had one of my worst experiences with chipotle, not that i'm a huge fan, because I don't think they're proportions, are that great on a.Regular basis, not alone. When you had to experience like today, there was a pretty mild rush. Nothing too severe, about ten people in line the manager starts freaking out trying to lock the door I'm telling people he can't serve them anymore. Acting like it's this huge rush, they can't handle it. There's already food and garbage all over the floor it's not the most cleanest. Establishment, I've been to everyone is like asking the manager why he's locking the doors and he's like the rush, the rush. The rush was gone in less than 10 minutes. They didn't even unlock the doors. Still, everyone's kind of uncomfortable. One of the side doors was unlocked, but you couldn't come in it. They were very rude and cocky. And then I feel like my proportions were twice as little because I mentioned. I wouldn't be very happy if I was the owner of this business and you locked the door pushing people away, but they wouldn't understand that. Because they're just workers never intended on owning a business. Which I wasn't in a rush, I wasn't being impatient. I was respectful most of the time I. Left a good tip Look, that guy was one of the only people that did well. I was in the rush. If you can't handle, yeah, a little rush get out of the food business very poor management, though, in my opinion, very poor not that the workers were much better, but...
Read moreEDIT: This location has started to turn things around for the better. While I am still hesitant, personally, to order meat (I really can’t stand gristle so that’s more of a me thing), I’ve visited a couple of times recently and have found that the experience has improved. I haven’t run into them being out of sofritas and the overall experience has improved markedly. Also, the burrito folding has been much, much better lately. I still occasionally have over (or under?) cooked rice, but it’s a lot rarer and the quality is much closer to what I like from Chipotle.
I really like Chipotle. For nearly a decade now, going to Chipotle for lunch has been almost an every other day occurrence. Moving to Medford and experiencing this Chipotle, however, has been a travesty. It seems like they can’t regularly track their inventory, because almost every time I go there something new is missing. On top of that, they don’t train their staff to trim the meat very well. I regularly find gristle, fat, and all sorts of weird textures in my meat burritos. It’s gross. I’ll normally get sofritas there to compensate, but they are out of sofritas about 1/3 of the times I go there. They also don’t seem to put much effort into folding a burrito—I shouldn’t need a fork and 5 napkins to successfully finish my burrito. Also, recently, the rice has been regularly over cooked. ...
