After having such a wonderful experience at their Talent location, we gave their N. phoenix Rd. Location a whirl. We were very underwhelmed. The food was good. Everything else was abysmal. Their staff needs some serious retraining. Our waitperson started off strong, but after we stated we wanted a few minutes more to decide on food after drinks were brought, radio silence for much longer than we intended. Their was no one else dining indoors besides us and some people in the bar area and it was obvious we were forgotten. The wait staff brought out our food after a long time after they finally came to take our order.
No gripes with the food, other than it took longer than it should for two wraps, a salad and two small pizzas. Judging by how long it took for them to run others' food from the service window while I camped out at the cash register to pay my bill, I am doubtful it was the cooking staff's fault.
If this place is going to charge $25 for a 12 inch pizza, then the wait staff needs to up their game. And what is up with the lighting in the dining area? You could develop film in there...

Pricing was very inconsistent at best (paid $3 for a side of ranch one time and $1.50 a second but yet large ranch cup and they tried to charge me an incorrect price - more money - for a calzone), pizza was very salty both times to the point of almost inedible, they charge extra for using a card without any notification (I had cash I would have preferred to use), and the waitress was rude and inattentive.
I was most disappointed with what looked like some questionable characters coming through doing some very weird things. One person that was just in the “family” dining side (not the bar) of the restaurant approached me at my window as I was getting in my car to leave and asked me for money. As a female, this was very disconcerting that he followed me out of Morrtons - I was scared. Not sure what kind of people are frequenting this place, but it’s definitely not...

Dinged another star because of the ridiculous fees added on to the to go order. It felt like I was dealing with a cable company or buying an airline ticket with the junk fees. Fee for using a credit card, another fee for it being a 'to-go' order. Basically charging me for a pizza box I guess? Never heard of another pizza place ever doing that, but this place does. Surprised there wasn't a "pizza oven" fee for cooking it. Fees not disclosed either on the phone or at pick up. Only saw it on the receipt after the fact.
Just be up front with your pricing and put the real price on the menu. Maybe give a discount for cash. Would come across a lot better.
I'll admit I'll probably still go back occasionally though, only because they are opening a 2nd location that is going to be like 2 minutes away from me. Will be too convenient for...
