I give three stars for the pizza which is good and loaded with quality meat and other toppings. Could do with more sauce and way more tomatoes though.
One star for the hassle of ordering here. I worked in the restaurant/bar industry for years and don't normally write negative reviews about places but there's a huge problem with the long wait times and messed up orders here. Today we called ahead our order, they said a 20-25 minute wait time. I showed up 25mins later to pay for it and they hadn't even started it. This has happened to me at least four times at this location. I sat there for 25mins while they cooked it. Over Christmas they not only made me wait an extra 15mins till my pizza was done, they got the order wrong which has happened twice before!
The system for paying for take out orders requires that you wait in a line while people ahead of you also order their pizza. Every time I go in I have to wait in a ridiculous line because they don't have a proper way to pick up to go orders. They have one register window which causes the whole problem. Move out the video games out and get a to-go register man!
The kitchen is total chaos, employees box up orders and they can sit there while no one reads them out because there's no dedicated person expediting orders, which is how a restaurant normally functions. Several times I've sat waiting while my pizza came out 10-15mins earlier because no one bothered to read the name out loud. Walking out with a cold pizza is a regular thing if they're even slightly busy. People making pizza suddenly stop to help someone at the register, who's been standing there for 5 mins patiently waiting. Put ONE person on the register when it's busy and let them stay there till it slows down. This place needs to visit some kitchens around town or any town and see how they function, because this place is such let down when it...
Read more2 weeks ago my daughter ordered pizzas and was told to pick them up in 30 mins. It was early in the day. She arrived-no pizzas. She told the person acting like the manager and he said they would get right on them. He went back and started chatting and laughing with someone and disappeared. When he came back she asked AGAIN about the pizzas and he went back to chatting. She gave up on him and found a lady who told her the printer didn’t put out a ticket so she waited an 1 hour and 40 mins! to get the pizzas. No discounts or anything. Fast forward to last Saturday. Tried to place order online but app is not user friendly for gluten free. I placed the order over the phone and was told they could scan the gift card since I am a rewards member. Pizzas were not ready (we gave them an extra 10 mins before we arrived.) and we waited over 40 minutes. They did not take the gift card saying I needed a pin but giving no direction as to how to locate the pin. Then we got home and 1 pizza was completely wrong. Paid for ingredients we didn’t get. Once again, no discount, no real help. Consistently bad experiences from what has always been our favorite place. Have a $50 gift card I’ll probably never use because I’m fed up. We recognize that these are difficult times and have been patient with previous mistakes but they act like they really...
Read moreUpdate: Within a couple hours of posting this review, the owner(Jim) was able to locate us in the system and left a voicemail on my husband’s phone. We were able to connect and had a really nice conversation. Long story short, my entire order was refunded which was not expected but certainly appreciated and a newer team member learned an important lesson (he was super nice just wasn’t initially connecting the dots on why a credit toward a new order would not suffice in this particular situation). I am pleased with the outcome and will not hesitate to order or visit again.
We ordered delivery and two items were missing from our order. No problem. I understand everyone is stretched thin right now. I gave Mountain Mike’s a call back to let them know what was missing and asked they credit our card with the missing items. They said they would. Fast forward a few days and I happen to remember to check - no credit. Called back and asked again our card be refunded for the two missing items. Was told told they “don’t do that” and would credit our next order. This would be understandable had we received our full order and it was late or cold or we didn’t like it. This is not an agreeable solution for missing items. Given the experience, I told them not to bother with credit...
