Rose's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Medford

I normally do not leave reviews but this is a little upsetting. The food is good so that's not what I have a problem with the problem I have is with the delivery service or the delivery driver to be exact. Being a chef and working in the restaurant industry my entire life I understand the tipping struggle But never have I am alive complained to a Customer about the tip or lack thereof. I have ordered from this restaurant several times but roll times but one time I ordered I had let a friend grab some money out of my wallet and not realizing how much they took I ended up having 2 count change to compensate the Driver of some sort. Even after explaining my situation the delivery driver was terribly rude and kept commenting saying more tip more tip. So the next time I order roses takes it upon themselves to automatically charge me a tip. This last and final time I decided to order from this restaurant the delivery driver was acting fresh about the tip again. He actually stood there and read it and I guess was gonna say something if a tip wasn't good enough for him. I would think u with a lot of people struggling that kind of mentality would not be there But I guess it still is so I will not be ordering from this establishment again And if I was the delivery driver did not like the type of money he was making maybe I would find...

Love Rose's! Good American-style chinese, decent sushi, decent prices. Usually pretty fast too. Pretty much the quintissential local Chinese with some sushi as well. Extensive menu of all your favorites, and some nice lunch specials for cheaper. Not the fanciest/best Chinese or sushi in boston, but reliably good at a decent price. And damn good for an american-style chinese local joint.

...On a side note, I have no idea where the accusation of food poisoning comes from in other reviews here (maybe someone drank too much and tried to eat a dried pepper, lol). I've been eating here for 10+ years with no issues other than stuffing...

We ordered dinner last night for the first time from Rose's and were very impressed. The crab rangoon what's the best I've ever had, and other appetizers were very good and not greasy. The Moo Shi Shrimp was delicious and not overcooked, and General Cho's Chicken was outstanding, with just enough spice. The only disappointment was hot and sour soup, which was watery and neither spicy or hot. They have excellent coupons on their website so our General Cho's Chicken was free. Their prices are good for this area although not cheap, delivery was only $2 through their website. We will definitely...
