I've been coming here since they've first opened prior COViD craziness lol I've picked a few beers that are on my favorite list, but try to try them all because it seems like this brewing company makes different types and they all just seem to taste really good. I'm big into sipping beers that you can just hang out and sip on like throughout the evening. During quarantine a friend like Randy was my favorite beer and then after quarantine I've just tried a few here and there that I've grown till like. However, they have some really good beer cocktails, the mango habanero one is phenomenal it is a sweet spicy combination and the flavor, you have to try it!You would never know that it was a beer cocktail. Planted flag has an awesome staff everybody is very friendly and talkative. Their food is on another level the pretzel is got to be my favorite so far. The atmosphere whether you're inside or outside it's just calm and laid back almost as if you're in the country it just has its own vibe. doesn't matter if you're just driving through or you're a local this is a must try spot and to hang out and relax with friends or...
Read morePros: The beers are good, and the brewpub itself is nice. Outdoor seating is great during the spring/summer. The owner is just about always present and friendly.
Cons: Pricing seems just flat-out insane to me here. My wife and I had a reuben, a hamburger, a pretzel, and one beer a piece. All of the food was average/below average. After tip, it was close to $60. If you don't want to listen to anti-maskers spout off conspiracy theories, you'll need to avoid sitting by any employees. They deleted their social media presence to shift to SayScape and MeWe, so it is a pain to be informed as to what they are currently brewing and up to. TVs just shuffle through a repetitive slideshow explaining things like where the beer's names come from that no one other than the person it is named after would find interesting.
TL;DR: Worth a stop to say you've been there, but there are too many other options in Medina that are better and more...
Read moreAs mentioned in previous reviews this is a very propaganda driven environment. Anti-masking, conspiracy theories are overriding themes. Despite that, I felt the food was above average for tavern fare and the beer and beer mixers were above average and original. As mentioned in other reviews pricing seems about 15% too high for the area. Bartenders and owner were friendly, though was overcharged on our bill. Heard a group of 6 talking about what gun they would use to kill Biden, so you really have to understand the crowd you're getting into when visiting. I do respect the owner's right to his opinions and to appeal to a demographic of his choice, and there are some real positives about the brewery. Wont return though as it feels more like a clubhouse of Qanon than an inclusive community brewery. No bad wishes, just...
