Shoreline Seafood — Restaurant in Melbourne

By far the most wonderful experience I've had in quite sometime. Great atmosphere, wonderful location for parking but my most prized moment wasn't what I ever expected. Yes, my food was so delicious, I did have to tell my wife to try it. Tye most prized moment was when my own wife loved my food. She absolutely hates the taste of fish. And when she took a bite, FIREWORKS! "Almost like well-rendered ribs." No fish flavor, great seasoning all over it and so flavorful in every single bite.

What was this meal? Well it was the Chilean Sea Bass cooked and seasoned beautifully on top of grilled asparagus and then set on top of a delicious risotto. I will be back for more!

The Stone crab appetizer was really good also, and a first for both of us. The sauce made for it was so delicious that you could literally eat it by itself. They complimented each other really well. Love in your mouth. The melted butter was really good to dip into to change your palate. The seasoning mixed in that butter was just right in so many ways.

We also had another appetizer that was obviously made fresh and delicious. Crab cakes. Melt in your mouth and had the right amount of crisp to the outer crust and the moist inside just made you melt in your seat with comfort. Presentation was amazing. Like art. You can tell, the chefs here love to cook and taste!

My wife had the seafood boil with scallops and Crab clusters. These scallops had been seared perfectly. So perfect that Chef Ramsey would have been proud to serve them. Texture and sear were on point. The only downside was the size of the clusters in meat that was able to be pulled just due to size alone. I would only recommend to increase the price of the clusters if its what is stopping the size. The flavor great with the spicy garlic butter boil, it's definitely there.

In my whole experience the only negative thing I see coming from this new and amazing restaurant is the space. Once this gets found out. This restaurant will be needing to run strictly on reservations.

If you are looking for a great place for a romantic evening with your other half, this is your place.

*We can't gig this restaurant on crab size. They are grown in the wild. And availability is a factor when it comes to size and quality. That being said, We will be back. We will spread the word. Because WE dont want to lose a great restaurant here in...

Outside of the water and two… very delayed beers… I unfortunately cannot leave a review on the food as we were never served any. However I want to share our horrible experience.

My family and I decided to try a new place as we visit the area often. We were promptly seated and waters delivered to the table in normal time. We then waited for 15 mins to put in our food and drink order. For this to happen we had to ask another server that we were ready.

After another 5 mins, our server shows up to take our order. We place our drink and food order. 15 mins later, we still have not received our drinks. I managed to make eye contact with our server and she shifted to pour our drinks, which she then used a straw to stir the beer on both glasses.

At this point our server has seated two more tables and taken their order. Our drinks sat on another table for another 10 mins. Finally our server realized after she dropped off drinks to another table that she forgot about ours. Get this, she took our drinks to a completely different table.

We proceeded to wait another 20 mins for our food only for the other server we flagged down initially to notice something was wrong. At this point we are an hour in and only have drinks at the table. Said server asked us if we ordered, to which we said yes. She went and got the manager/coowner.

We were told there were POS issues and our ticket never made it to the kitchen. I don’t believe that as the tables that came in after, were getting their food. The manager tried to make it right, but at this point of waiting almost an hour with two toddlers asking where the food was, we left.

The fact our server never checked on us and the other server did, speaks volumes of the quality of personal that work the FOH. I want to give a shoutout to the blond hair server that noticed things were wrong when we were not even her table. The other who was ours - should be sent packing.

What a great find! Newly opened an an amazing experience! We love the watermelon feta salad, and I just recommended that maybe they grill it in the future and then sprinkle the feta on top and a little extra dressing, but it was refreshing and light and perfect even as it was served!

The OMG dish was definitely the miso marinated grouper! This was absolutely perfection! Layers of exquisite flavors from the top to the bottom was a delicate slaw on top of the miso marinated grouper, coconut risotto, a sweet corn puree with bok choy underneath… It just made your taste buds tingle and I would highly recommend coming here just to try this dish. As a light eater, I can share it with enough for two. Best grouper I’ve ever had in my entire life!

We also got one of the boils And left it for one so we could add lots of yummy extras, including snow, crab, Dungeness, clams, and crawfish! It did not disappoint and rivaled and was absolutely better than any of those chain crab.The crab clusters came directly out of the shell without a lot of extra work, which speaks to Everything was cooked perfectly, and the corn was fresh. Not those frozen cops you normally see.!
