This was actually our second visit to Cantina Dos Amigos. (I like to try a place a few times before reviewing it.) Our server was Alex G., according to our receipt. He was very good. And knew exactly what we wanted, minus the drinks. Greeted us instantly. Dropped chips and salsa and took the drink order. I asked for a water and a piña colada and my husband requested a sweet tea. Alex brought us the sweet tea and water and assured my cocktail would be out shortly and said he would be right back. The colada showed up right after he walked away. He returned back with another table's drinks, checked on his other tables and stopped at us and asked if we were ready to order. Which we were, but like I said previously, he knew what we wanted. (I guess we're typical gringos, lol) The food arrived VERY quickly; and was ¡muy caliente! My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach and needed a box about halfway through. My husband just about finished all of his. Alex brought our box, upon our inquiry. Asked if there was anything else we'd like. We said no and asked for the check. He pleasantly said sure and not only brought our bill, but two awesome, complimentary churros. (I know its just fried dough with cinnamon sugar, but they were delicious and again, free!) So, for 1 drink, 1 cocktail, 1 steak fajita entreé and 1 nacho appetizer (served as an entreé, with ground beef added), AND TAX, our total bill was $31 and change. We were extremely pleased with the quality of food, beverages (I could feel the buzz but not taste the alcohol from my piña colada. I am also NOT a drinker.), service and atmosphere. I did not use the restroom, which I do typically try to do when trying a new place. We WILL be...
Read moreLet me explain to you why the restaurant either got 5 stars or 1 stars because, the owner is RACIST and very ANGRY person. I don't have yelp, I created the account just to share my nightmare.
After we ordered, the owner came to our table drunkenly, rudely wanted to sit with me, I refused, He threw our stuffs on the floor, wanted to kick us out and threatened us many things, keeping calling me very aggressively RASIM names including N*ger.
My friend's little kid was there with us. he even attacked the innocent kid. I felt our lives are under threatening so called 911, all the customers witnessed this also called 911.
The nice couple sitting behind us did stand up for us and told him we didn't do anything wrong and don't do this in front kid. People asking him why he picked up on three girls and this is child abuse.
He was not listening. Everything was recorded. The another furiously part is he followed us to parking lot, took pictures of our tags, attacked the brands we were driving, standing right behind my car and won't allow me leave until cops car showed up not just one but 6 , rescued us from the scene. I believe police department had interviewed other witnesses and recorded of everything.
Hey, if you ever wanted be discriminated or witnessing an aggressive scene be their customer. He hurt nobody more than himself and...

Wed nights are 2 for 1 Margaritas. They were tasty and in full size water glasses but seemed to lack much in one ingredient - tequila. The chips and salsa brought to the table were great.
I ordered the Tres Tacos-Spicy, your choice of steak or chicken. Ordered one steak, two chicken. The plate had three soft flour tacos with meat, some chopped onion and a sprinkling of cilantro - that was it. Both types of meat were chewy and tasteless. There was a small container on the side of a spicy green, very thin salsa. This was the Spicy in the name. The side of beans and rice were the highlight of the meal. To add insult to injury an upcharge was added to the bill for the steak which the menu does not mention - shrimp yes, steak, no.
My wife had a taco salad which she said was fine. Unfortunately, something must not have been quite right because she spent a lot of time in the...
