Used to be regular, consider me not anymore.
On May 5th, 2019, around approximately 3:30PM this store had an alleged “power outage from two of the female employees. I was told it could take 30-40 minutes. That’s fine. Sat in my car for a second and saw a male employee and two other customers walk in.” The two female employees then bolted off to somewhere. I figured I would try to come back when their system was up; so, I decided to run an errand.
I came back from this errand only to find this male employee serving other customers, with the door locked. Employee was pointing and laughing at the door which I found odd. He had one of the “customers” come to me and tell me that their system was down and didn’t know when it would be back up. The “customer” not realizing I had been sitting there earlier told me “I guess we were lucky and got in before it just went down.” I don’t feel any entitlement to anything free and even offered cash to put in later. I don’t understand why other “customers” were being served then? I drove down the street and found myself a smoothie...
Read moreThrough conversation at the register I found out I was ordering with the owner of the location and she was SO kind and helpful. She helped me figure out which smoothies I would like and chatted with me. Before my smoothies came out she gave me a sample of one and asked if I liked it, I didn’t but I said I would take it anyway and she offered to make me a whole new one for free. You can tell she cares about the customers experience. It happened to be a sample day for a new smoothie so she gave me one of those too. What an awesome encounter! She also did small things like make sure she greeted everyone, handed straws/spoons out to each person when handing out the smoothies and smiled at them. She even put my first smoothie in the freezer while working on my remake. You can tell she cares about the details. Will definitely be going back - especially knowing that her family and her run it. Her dad was in there helping her that day and I believe her...
Read moreI went there 2 times. Last Thursday and today. I asked if the smoothies were gluten free last week because I have celiac. An autoimmune disease where my body attacks itself if I eat gluten. This puts me at risk of catching all kinds of other illnesses as my body cannot tight off diseases if it is wreaking havoc. Guy says “oh yeah 100%” i taste it, noticed there was protein powder. On drive home I felt the bubbles in my tummy meaning I ate gluten. All week had insomnia, fatigue and irritability, meaning my body was under attack. This week I asked the nice young ladies if they have gluten in any protein powders and they read off ingredients in the protein powered. Sure enough glutamine was in it. That contains gluten. Gluten free is not a joke, it is healthcare. Please...
